People are so excited as because the new Star Wars Episode (H)
 
going to use the three striker tactic for the upcoming season, newly promoted forest is in for a run ;)

a little disappointed I find the tactical attack does not score much, and 442 very dificult to win games (I specified that i do a backup of my bis lyon champion who finished with another tactic)
have you seen my message for TM?

Brought lacazzette from Lyon in January he will provide goals. Also sisto rulli and zivkovic from partizan Belgrade(never had that player in fm before) will come next season to my team as future transfer, in summer will buy some CD and someone to replace Baines.... But everything after work :(

In a personal save, there is so much randomness to be able to judge anything really :) That's why we use custom databases :) In the long run, both these are very good tactics, almost to the point of how good they can get in FM16, due to few tactical options (in comparison with for example FM13). And points per game deviation in a normal game can be huge, due to a lot of random factors :P (which we have removed in the database we test in)

About TM, no, that's one thing I haven't tested yet :P Feel free to experiment with the tactics, and let me know if you find a tweak that's good :D

I gave the 4222DM a go and I'm more than happy with it. It's the first save with my fav RL club in FM, Cologne, as I was unsure about the other formations/tactics posted up in here, don't think anything around here could suit them better and I'm just **** at creating tactics. Plus I had good memories of a 4-3DM-2-1 tac from MrL in FM13. So I started yesterday morning, and last night we succeeded the most we can I guess. Screenies following -

We have been the better team or atleast equal to better teams in 90% of the matches, which is amazing imo. Only got dominated away to Bayern but that's nothing I can be surprised about- quality.

I found team cohesion an immense factor in my game but also team talks, avoiding complacency seems to be more important than ever before, now I think twice about praising them if I see pretty much everyone on a superb morale :D Artisan's team talk also helped me alot by going our way to this which can be found here -

We reached almost a perfect level of team cohesion throughout the season and it really makes the team a unit on the pitch.


I'm planning to use some other formations of the tactics set, are they also as complete (final) as the 4213 and the 4222DM, MrL? I ask because in some tactics the PIs differ from the two "top main Tactics", noticing you didn't choose the tackling settings and wide play PIs as you did in example on the 4222 one, or was it wanted to differ? In this versions many tactics or atleast the formation the team is employing I feel gets countered after being succesful after some time, no matter how good a single tac is. So I'll try to get some depth to the squad to be a bit more flexible on formations on the long term.


Anyway I'm very thankful for your huge work and also to the great efforts of the tactic testing team, this forum needed you guys back :)

All the other tactics in the "other decent formations" zip file got 140-150 points in the test as well. It is hard to know for sure what's best when only 10 points differ, so without any further testing, they should be up to, or close to up to par with the two "best ones".

Do both of the tactics in the OP work for both home and away and can they be used in lower leagues?
