Mr Langvatn's Tactic Thread (Updated for 13.3.3)

so 4-4-2 gung ho classic edition for start ?

According to my current tactic test, my strongest tactics are the 4-2-3-1 Gung Ho Classic Edition and the new tactic 3-2-3-2 Underdog Overload. But the season is far from over. Will post the league table when I've played around 120 more games (Half way)

would you play them home and away or 4231 for home and the underdog for away?

Mr Langvatn which is the most stable tactic of those?

Which has the best defence?

I am going to be a favorite in my league and an underdog in Champions League.

Seems like the 4-2-3-1 is the most stable both home and away. (In my tactic test with equally matched custom teams)
The underdog overload 3-2-3-2 has the best defense I think.

I remember you from the old underdog tactic I made :) You had immense results with it right? :)

Mr Langvatn,

I heard from a friend that your tactics are the best. If I want to use the best tactic thats on fm2013, should I use one of yours? Should I wait until the results of your league and use one of those?

Is the best tactic on the game that 4-2-3-1 mentioned?

The best atm of mine are the 4-2-3-1 and the 3-2-3-2. But there are a tad better ones out there, not by much though (in a custom setting). My 4-2-3-1 is like 2 points from the top, so it can still win. Got around 6 games left. But I will make a new tactic and maybe update some of my current ones, and do a new round :)

Currently using the 4-4-2 Gung Ho to pump up morale after a bad shape period. It's very good, but I generally don't like 4-4-2s at all, so will switch back to other modules asap.
Looking forward for the results or your huge tacticap project :)

all tactics are good. depends on formation u like. tactic works better if you have right player on position.
thinking about to start new save with Porto, with portuguese players and club formation players. gonna use 4-2-3-1

What is the best one in the game, regardless of the players you have available? You say it's not one of yours then?

My 4-4-2 has done terrible against these other tactics :P I think it's at bottom or smth. But it's still a good tactic. Wins the EPL easy with Liverpool first season. So that says something about the level of all the tactics in my test. I only picked the best ones to compete with. The 4-2-3-1 however, does very very well.

The tactics in my test are all almost equally good. Can't say which one is the best. And still 6 games to go. There is like 2 points difference between 1st and 6th place.

So does this test include other peoples tactics? Like might and magic? Or just all of your tactics?
