I have tried almost every tactic in a week but I didn't find a better than your tactics. I think you are the best tactician in this year. I have played with rock and 2-5-3 and won every cup and bored. I search different tactic and basic formation. Will you share a new tactic these times. I wait a successful tactic for new career.
 
I've tried Rock Classic... Monster TactiK... Only God could beat me !!!!
(Won Everything... With any Team.... )

I've tried your New 2-5-3 V2, because I'd like to try a new one and because 3 strikers are very exciting me But...
I can not get decent results

Yet, I am currently involved with Chealsea, I do not change anything that was my success with the Rock ....
So I was wondering if it may be needed more patient with this tactic ?

The rock is and will always be the flagship :) It's fun with a change though, however, your team is used to playing with the 4-1-4-1 now, could take a while getting used to a completely different formation :)

So, you suggest to do not change my tactic ?
(Because my Board will be nervous if my team do not have decent results !!! )

Because there is no such thing as the perfect tactic. In previous editions of FM, you could create the perfect tactic to exploit and beat the Match Engine. Here, we are talking about beating the opponents.

The Rock Classic is pretty **** close though :P But yeah, they really "nerfed" the power of tactics this year. So much other stuff that is important too.

Yeah, just keep using the Rock I guess :) I am now working on improving it, but I will test it A LOT to completely rule out the RNG factor, so it will take a while.
 
what the situation with 4-2-3-1 spin the wheel (Godlike Version)? Is that not effective on the new patch?

The other things where just as important in prevoius editions, buf if one used exploiting tactics, then one did not use tactical approaches but instead tacticfiles to exploit and beat the ME.

My point was that when using tactics that exploited the match engine, the other things suddenly wasn't that important anymore afterall :P But yeah, we agree :)

your rock classic is basically a engine exploit :P

doesnt matter what team you use, in any league, they will win it :)
 
can anyone advise me on some decent 'cheapish' players for the 4-1-4-1 i can sign for swansea at the beggining of the game. :)

Mr L, for 4-1-4-1 what training should be done?

The one from the bayern screenshots? Or the one that you mentioned before that which is also on the front page?

I found this also:
Match I expect to dominate: Team Blend (should win anyway, so spend some time building the team understanding)
Match I expect to win: Attacking Movement: Make sure I have the best chance of converting attacking sequences of play
Match I hope to win: Defensive Positioning: Make sure I keep it tight at my end and hope to ****** goals on the counter
Match I expect to be a struggle: Attacking Set Pieces: Try to keep things as tight as possible and score form a set piece
Match I expect to lose: Defensive Set Pieces: Try to frustrate opposition in open play and then successfully defend the resulting set pieces
Match I expect to be dominated in: Team Blend (very little chance of a result, so work on team understanding)

What would you suggest?

How to Set General Practice and how to set personal training athletes? I tested each of your tactics on a weak team, and this tactic is still the best.
