Mr Langvatn's Tactic Thread (Updated for 13.3.3)

Just had a run of games with Barnsley season 6 in premier
city home 3-1 w
newcastle away 0-1 w
chelsea home 0-0 in cc cup
liverpool home 3-3
villa away 1-1
chelsea home 2-1 w
chelsea away 4-2 cc cup
liverpool away 0-1 w
Arsenal away 0-0
and now from the Liverpool game have gone 6 without conceding 4141 rock theses result would be impressive with any team in the world but am Barnsley!!!!!!
in cc cup final n semi of fa also and second in premier!!!!!
 
Now just beat city 1-0 in cup and after 4 mins had to bring on my 650k 19 yr old dm due to injury 7 in a row clean sheets
 
Does anybody find with 4-1-4-1 Rock that their striker is kind of ineffectual? My midfielders get more shots and goals than my striker. I don't mind that they're contributing but the striker seems like, with changes, he could become more effective.
 
phil2 , that is the same reason i had to stop using this tactic. my striker never scored. its a shame because i really wanted it to work. i look at everyone else's fantastic results with envy.

Mr langvatn is there any reason why this is happening? or what am I doing wrong?

I really appreciate it. Not to sound too fawning but you've already done more than can be expected by producing this tactic (among others). I'll be happy to test any variations you think are worthwhile.
 
Hi Mr. L. , I'm using the new 4-2-3-1, great tactic, but my strikers no are scoring much goals, why ?
 
Mr Langvatn which tactic you suggest to me? 4-1-3-1-1 or your last tactic 4-2-3-1?

Ye, or you could try other training alternatives as well :) I haven't tried much on that one. I'm now exploring the rock in classic mode! :P Seems extremely good right off the block even.
 
Hi Mr. Langvatn, Tq for suggesting using 4-1-3-1-1 degenarationx.. juz finish my first season using it.. win serie A and copa italia but knocked out at champion league group stage.. once fluid (start fluid on match againts torino), the tactic become unbeatable.. only loan tom cleverly and wilson palacios.. on january transfer window buy aymen abdennour.. focus for player that have Acc/pace and stamina to make close down become perfect.. but still wondering on most suitable ST for this tactic.. (sorry for my bad english)

It's just the way the tactic is designed. The striker has lots of assists too though, but he doesn't score a lot. Goals are divided mostly between the CM's, the AMC and the striker :P
