Mr Langvatn's Tactic Thread (Updated for 13.3.3)

The new rock is worse than the older. I try the two tactics with portsmouth, old- 4 games,3 draws, 1 loss, new- 3 losses, 1 draw, It needs more time, let's see

I will wait for more results :) I have some friends who are using the new one with great results too :)
 
W4NKER. Maybe instead of going one for home and one for away, why not combine the best qualities from both into one tactic like this? :) I changed mentality and closing down on DL, DCL, DCR, DR, and moved the CF to DMC, and changed mentality on him too. Works amazingly well :)

The KISS Corners 4141 formation is working well for me...even restrict a tough opponent to zero shots on goal while at home :)

The change from centre mid role to ball winning midfielder means i have to scout for a suitable candidate now since most of my centre mid players are attuned to a centre mid role XD

Can you make same changes for degeneration tactic?
 
Rock classic needs no changes. Tried with lowest league team up to top team. Its brilliant!! Needs team management to get most out of it but goes without saying really..........same with every tactic. With my spurs save luke dejong just got most goals in a match record. 6 out of 8 scored against arsenal in cup final. Arsenal had a shot!! Only de jong and morrone bought
 
Mr. L, so the 'Rock Classic' tactic you uploaded on page 120 is not the same as the one on the opening post? I managed to finish 7th with the one on page 120. Decent enough season to say i only come up and made no signings at all and using youth players.

It's a bit different. The one on the front page is higher scoring I think. Made some changes to crossing/through balls, and set the striker to run from deep often.
 
Hello everyone, Mr.Langvatin could you tell how size the pitch for 4-1-4-1 rock ? And what’s the most important attributes for assistant manager ? Thanks.
 
Hey Mr. Langvatn! Love your tactics. I am considering starting a new game with Manchester United with the classic Rock tactic. Does Kagawa fit in the CM position? And would play Carrick as an CM or a DM?

Thx. What’s the most important attributes for assistant manager by the way ? The most important when I am going on holiday are motivation, tactic knowledge - what else ?
