Muamba

How is that rude? It's a logical induction, one which I (unfortunately) agree with. Obviously we hope he survives, but I really don't see it unfortunately.
In what way is it logical?
If he had died they wouldn't put out a statement lying about it they just wouldn't release a statement until his family had been informed. Plus I don't even think those two statements necessarily imply a deterioration. He had stopped breathing so when they managed to resuscitate him that was the situation stabilised but that doesn't mean that he wasn't critically ill after what he went through.

I hope he will be ok!!!!! What a tragedy. Just awfull. And a few days ago when that bus crashed in tunnel in Switzerland... Horrible things.

I pray Muamba pulls through ok, horrible thing to happen to such a young professional.

Hope he pulls through.

Once a gooner, always a gooner.

Not sure how saying 'i tots think he's dead' is any more respectful ( or likely to aid his recovery) than setting up a facebook profile wishing Muamba to recover.

I hope he does recover, I have had twice had a player suffer a heart attack while playing a football match i was involved with, and both survived. Hopefully Muamba will also.

I dont know why but this reminds me of Marco Simoncelli.
However I Really hope he gets through this.

Normal medical practice is to cease ressusitation after 20-25 minutes

That is only if they have had no heart rate out put within that time. If they get a slight output they are obliged to carry on until there is no complete sign of life. I have been involved with cardiac rescusitations for the last ten years. We have had resus that has gone on for an hour and a half before now.

Fabrice probably suffered from a heart disease called Cardiomyopathy.

It can be undetected no matter how many E.C.G's a player has during medicals.

At least with Fabrice his heart was able to be restarted by the medical staff at Tottenham and at the London Chest Hospital unlike the cases in 2003 and 2007.

Going to monitor Fabrice for next 24 hours and it was a cardiac arrest this is on sky sports

People should be saying "Thank the Bolton and Spurs medical staff" instead of "thank god" that he's alive
keep battling Muamba!

YNWA Fabrice, please make a full recovery lad.

Fair enough, I don't have any medical history so I was just using my basic knowledge. Possible cardiac dsrthymia (sp)?

Oh, that guy who was trolling on twitter...

"ince these outrageous remarks he has attracted so much attention that he has been trending on twitter in the UK! His address, university, rugby team, place of part-time work, pub that he drinks at, facebook (and sister's facebook)/bebo/myspace account have all been posted. There are users openly stating they're going to pay him a visit and "sort him out". The police, his university, rugby team have been contacted. A petition has been created to have him arrested and kicked out of uni."

I just woke up this morning and see on BBC that he is critically ill in hospital. A time like this, football is the very last thing on everyones mind, when a person is in hospital fighting for his life at such a young age. The medics saved Muamba last night after going into Cardiac Arrest. I hope he recovers from this. I doubt the doctors will allow him to play Football again for a long time or even forever if he recovers.

Praying for Muamba

EDIT: About the post above. These people are whats wrong with humanity. It's clear they have no respect for anyone anywhere apart from theirselves. Absolute ridiculous. They are low-lifes, sick, twisted people. I hope that Liam from Swansea University gets either chucked out of Uni or someone finds him and teaches him a lesson. I bet they dont even realise Muamba has a son. I hate people who make jokes about dead people or like this situation a critically ill person, I think they are scum, people who mock the dead or ill people? thats just beyond scum.

If i was there I'd give him the ultimate lesson myself, a lesson he would remember till his last day. Im not perfect, neither are you all, but those people like that Liam guy, are disgrace to humanity indeed.
