After reading all the other stories, this is my first attempt at one. Dans european adventure inspired me a little bit when he got to Russia, so i'm starting in Russia with the other big european leagues loaded, in June 2009. Picked Dinamo Moscow as we played them in the champs league qualifying this year, and they were down the league and managerless when i started the game, so hear goes:
DINAMO
Dinamo Moscow, founded in 1923, are a professional club in Russia's top flight. They play their home games at the Dynamo Stadium, tho currently they play at the Khimki arena while the ground is being renovated. They are the oldest club in Russia, nicknamed 'the policeman' and have always been in the top tier of the Russian/Soviet leagues, never relegated......
DINAMO APPOINT LOCKHART
Dinamo Moscow have appointed 26yr old Scotsman Marc Lockhart as their new boss with a contract till Dec 2010. With almost half the season gone and the club sitting in 8th place, Lockhart will need to work fast for European qualification this year at least.
Current Position: 8th 18 pts (12 points behind leaders FC Moscow)
Media Prediction: 6th
Manager Expectations: European Place (1,2,3= Champions) or (4,5,6= Euro) and minimum of Euro Cup group stage place.
Transfer budget: 6 million
Wage Budget: 75k
Transfer window opens 1st August 2009 in Russia
Tactics: Complete Domination 10.2 (its awesome)
Key Players: Denis Kolodin, Dimitri Kohklov, Alexandr Kerzhakov, tho Victor Svezhov is wanted by Roma, and Alexandr Kokrin by Real, Barca and Sevilla, both only 18/19.
Updates, scores etc will be done on a monthly basis
JULY
DINAMO MOSCOW 5-0 SPARTAK NALCHIK (Kerzakhov 3, Kokrin, Fernandez) RPD
LOCOMOTIV MOSCOW 0-2 DINAMO MOSCOW (Kerzakhov 2) RPD
VOLGA NN 0-4 DINAMO MOSCOW (Smolov, Khokhlov, Fernandez, Kokrin) RCUP6
DINAMO MOSCOW 3-1 RUBIN KAZAN (Aguiar 2, Kolodin) RPD
KUBAN 2-2 DINAMO MOSCOW (Kerzakhov, Kolodin) RPD
DINAMO MOSCOW 3-2 ANDERLECHT (Van Damme og, Smolov, Kerzakhov) Champ 3
TABLE
4th DINAMO MOSCOW 28pts
8 points off the top and 3 behind CSKA in 3rd (could someone please let me know how to take screen shots of my tables so i can upload them here, havent a clue! Ta)
Couldnt have asked for a better start to the month or my career, apart from the draw with Kuban its been perfect, with Kerzhakov now sitting at 14 goals in 18 games in all comps. Though must be careful against Anderlecht, was 3-0 at halftime!! Before my centreback Fernandez got sent off! Now the transfer window and Spartak await....
*Sorry if its a bit long, but its just the first 1 to try and set the scene, the rest wont be so bad, I promise
