My 50m Challenge

i've taken fulham and gutted them out completely.
remade them into Wombwell Town
50M to buy players with!
Even edited the stadium and kit colours etc.
should be interesting.

Still would like to know if you guys have done what i did or created a new team completely?
I dunno how to do that. I just edited fulham but theres no records of them being fulham or winning anything as fulham :P

- how do you change the teams badge?

here's a small guide on how to get it working!

first of all load the editor in

C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2009\tools\data editor

and load your desired database.

search for a premier league team (fulham for example) and go to one of the menu's at the top (file i think its at, or edit) and 'delete selected item'

then create new item, create new team. or something along those lines (i've closed the database editor so im unsure what the exact names for things are)~

DO NOT OVERWRITE THE MAIN DATABASE (unsure you even can but, just save it as something else)

I'll go through it all step by step once i'm 100% sure it all works.

Infact i might upload an updated databse somewhere (with your team as 'blank') or something and you can edit it to how you like it,

we'll see what happens

So far i have signed these players for my squad
getting hold of some reserve players next

got a few coaches and need to sort out some scouts

i deleted fulham and i took on two of their players as free transfers but most of the others got taken by other teams. :P

Starting Out.

ok well only, started, beat Boro 3.2 on opening day of season, then lost to Man City, Norwich (LC) and Chelsea 1.0 and then drew with Stoke.
Getting frustrated at my injuries, ahhh.

If someone could explain the screenshots I will upload my team.
 
i dont think so either now u can build on your team next season, lads i am making the Fm-Base team for 50m challenge.... will be done soon
 
just starting this now after finishing taking afc wimbledon to the prem in 10 years will let you know how i get on
 
ive got stream so how do i do it i made a team in editor how do you load it when you start fm up in stream?
 
My team is rather incredible Consisting of players like Beckham, Snra, Oswaldo Sanchez, Rivaldo, Benitez, Cata Diaz.

They jsut don't play well together yet, im holding out for draws, winning some matches and losing very little.
i expect mid-table finish this season

here's my latest first team squad, i'm only so low in the league tables because it's just before a match, and other teams have just played.

i'm roughly 8-10th in the league most of the time, which isnt bad considering we were destined to be relegated(apparently)

lads please help!!! how do i set my transfer busdget and wage budget, i do the numbers then i click off then back on finances and i have -1 :@:O how do i do it so i have positive budget, please help

how did you get darijo srna.he always goes to spurs in my game for like 15m
 
well ive started my game and started off brightly! i won all my friendlies and started the EPL against bolton. beat them 3-0 so really good result. i will post pics and keep you informed.
 
there is an editor built in the game. read through previous posts...
Snra, i have no idea. He came to me for 12M (one of the few players i splashed out on) but my reserve team is suffering because of this.
I don't have many decent reserves to fall back on and this season i will struggle if i end up with too many injuries!

my friend has this same problem

Whenever he goes to edit his financial data it doesnt save. Can't figure this one out.
 
there are only so many players that you can get who are decent! lol. but jus lost 3-0 to man utd! :(
 
How you finding benitez though? He's pretty excellent for me.
you've got alot of my players in your squad. Are you finding them to be playing decent enough for you?
I just beat stoke 2-0 :P
 
benitez aint clicked in my team yet... hopefully he will start playin well against fulham next game! the rest of the team are playin well but beckham is injury prone!
