Hi guys bit late in this blog, Im defo giving this a go, Im starting as Abu Dhabi Wanderers so I will see, a complete newb at this so Im not hopeful. Lol

Like I said before I am a newb but Im pleased with downing signing along with Lavezzi but I have I spent too much on these type and got too weak a players for the rest only time will tell I guess!!!!

Not the best of starts losgt my first three games at home to villa and away to arsenal 1-0 each and then lost away to wigan 2-0, I also lost 1-0 at home to southend in the lge cup... not good but I had a problem as I couldnt arrange friendlies so my players lacked their match practice and confidence I needed.
However it would seem with each game under their belts they are growing my last game I have just beaten Newcastle at home 2-0 Lavezzi with both goals, is this just a flash in the pan victory or am I turning the corner we shall see I guess.
 
how did you get all them fulham players for free???in my game andy johnson was still worth at least 10m danny murphy was about 2m and i bought simon davies for 3m even after i took them out of the league
 
nah non of the Fulham team are free on my game either. Maybe some cheating might be going on???
 
Clearly he has created his own database and replaced the fulham team which has released them all on a free.
 
Wowwow Hold your horses I have not cheated I dont kow what happend the game has o got Fulha included I dont know why, I basicly created my team thn through the swap team tool in the editor sapped fulham with my team. I am playing just the England league with large database I dont know if that has anything to do with it! And anyway if i had have cheated it would have been a terrible mistake cos Johnson is currently my worst player average of 5.7 and not yet scored!!! after 10 games in. doing Ok sat in 18th at the mo though beat UTD at home 2-1 but then lose to wigan 3-0 away!! my away form is letting me down BIG time.

It only lets me have 36k wage budget for some reason... I have edited the wage budget a few times but it won't change, Anybody had the same problem? Any help?

it takes the trasfer money away, but doesn't add it to the wages:@:@
 
Just got relegated at the end of the first season. =[ **** I failed.
 
Ok finally got through xmas and the jan transfer window!! currently 14th in league 5 points from joint 18th so doing ok... signed 2 players in the window Francesco Bolzoni 5mill and Sorrato 160k 18Yr old from spain these were replacements as I have sold Konchesky for 1.9m to blackburn and Alain Ebondo for 2.4m to Portsmouth.
My current team is Gk. Vilar, Dr Santon, Dl Masilela, Dc, Caceras, Dc Sorondo, Dm Bolzoni, Mc Davies, Mc Torrado, AML Downing, AMR Gera, S Lavezzi. My worry is I am not scoring enough goals, Only Lavezzi with 12 is doing well, Downing scored 3 and My GK has scored 1!!!! My other problem is I will need to buy a solid CB my worst player in the team Julio Caceres with an avge of 6.4. Hopefully I will succeed and complete the challenge!!!

Woo Abu Dhabi Wanderers have avoided the drop, with two games to go I am still 11 points clear of Hull who were 18th despite not winning for the last two games Hulls results were the same and condemned them to the relegation. Now I am going to try and stay on but with only 23m in the bank it is doubtful I will get much to spend next season and I do need to strengthen in order to stay in the prem next season, Its been more a case of worse oppostion than me being too good I would say!!!
 
Here's my final Transfers... Total wage bill - £314,349

First 2 results of the season - 1-1 home draw with Aston Villa, thena 1-0 away win against Arsenal, although, I was rather shocked with Wenger's team selection...

I dunno how to do that. I just edited fulham but theres no records of them being fulham or winning anything as fulham :P

here's a small guide on how to get it working!

first of all load the editor in

C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2009\tools\data editor

and load your desired database.

search for a premier league team (fulham for example) and go to one of the menu's at the top (file i think its at, or edit) and 'delete selected item'

then create new item, create new team. or something along those lines (i've closed the database editor so im unsure what the exact names for things are)~

DO NOT OVERWRITE THE MAIN DATABASE (unsure you even can but, just save it as something else)

I'll go through it all step by step once i'm 100% sure it all works.

Infact i might upload an updated databse somewhere (with your team as 'blank') or something and you can edit it to how you like it,

Did you upload the database with the team as blank anywhere Mijaan.

Also, does this change your database for ever and how does it effect other saved games your currently playing on.
 
Ths ismy current team fo te second season I was taken by surprise with Asenjo as he had a release clause of 8.75m but I didnt think he would come but he did!!! and it has now left me short of funds so I now have to try and loan a r/b any ideas, and please any suggestions on how to get the best out of these guys they are majority all recomendations from this site As I said before I am used to playing the top teams and spending the cash to bring in players so I hve trouble in identifying the players this is definatly more challenging.
 
how do i do this have i gotta choose a team and sell all there players or just swap players on the data editor

this imo doesn't really count as you have cherry picked a fulham squad for free.

The FM Base team is a far more fair test of management skills.
