Hey man, seems to be a great tactic. I have failed miserably this year at FM14, mostly down to the bugs in the ME that needs to be sorted out big time. Finding the right tactic is extremely hard this year so i will be trying yours as soon as possible with Hull City. I was just wondering though, they have a decent team for this tactic i guess, not the best, however keeping them up is the aim, i was just wondering if against the bigger teams away, you persist on using attacking mentality and keep your LWB at attacking as this could lead to your team going all out to try and score, not concentrating on defence, and with a small team like Hull, that could be disastrous. Also 1 last thing; i always play about 6/7 pre-season friendlies to get the tactic more fluid, but it never reaches full fluidity till about mid october/november time, and that's always too late by then as the team's morale is ver poor due to all the losses and nothing but a win will help that, so what would you suggest instead to get the tactic near to full fluidity before the season starts? Thanks.

Hey and thanks for choosing this tactic,
I do stick to attacking both home and away, I have never felt the need to change it, same goes for the wingbacks these are specifically set up to provide more passing options and retain possession, however with a team like hull you would be expected for loose possession battles in almost every game. If you do make any changes plz let us know how it goes as there is always room for improvement.
Secondly, in order to get fully fluid start the game with Germany start date, this gives an extra few weeks of training before the league starts.
Set team training up as in the OP, and place the tactic in all 3 slots this usually gives me fully fluid by the first or second game,

Also if making staff changes do it as soon as game loads as this affects tactic familiarity.

Does attacking only work when fully fluid? Currently I have to use counter away and control at home

Attacking works for me at all times, changing to control and counter will affect how quickly the team learns the tactic.
which team are you?
do you have a squad that is suitable for this shape?

I'm Liverpool, still got most of original squad, in my 3rd season. I've signed Ben davies, Luke shaw, koke, mangala, matuidi, ribery, Townsend, negredo. Sold agger, sahko, toure, sturridge. My usual starting 11 is
Gk-migonlet
rb-kelly
lb-davies
cb-mangala
cb-ginter
anchor-lucas
lw-coutinho
rw-townsend
cm-henderson
cm-Gerrard/koke
fs9-suarez

this team should be good with the tactic as is mate, I tested liverpool and lost only 1 game, how are the results going with control and counter?

Well I'm half way through my 3rd season and I had an almighty collapse with old tactic so switched to yours from
mid January and iv only lost twice, Man U away 4-1(3 of there goals in last 10 mins) and Sunderland away 1-0( Sunderland are for some reason a boogie team for me only beaten them once in 3 seasons and there currently 3rd) I beat man city with control
at home and beat Chelsea using counter in carling cup final. I think tactic is spot on just dnt seem to work for me attacking apart from when I was 4-2 down at home to
southampton and won 5-4

Thanks for getting back to me, mate. Beat Liverpool at home 3-1 first game of the season with the tactic! Still not 100% Fluid but gradually getting there. Bought Matt Lowton, Eduardo Salvio on loan and Mohamed Sissoko on a free to fit in as the Anchorman. I'll update you on how it goes! :)

Btw, i have had to take off 'Get Stuck in' because the yellow and red cards on this game are a joke, even without having it on i still get about 5 yellows and at least 1 red. I have changed it to 'Stay on Feet'. Also, i see you don't have any player instructions on whatsoever, is there a reason for this or don't you bother with all that?

Those are decent changes, this will save on cards aswell as injuries,
In terms of individual instructions as I have gone with the very fluid option this means that all players are expected to be able to contribute to all phases of play, and have been set with the closest I think you can get to generic roles as possible. To go and add individual instructions to the players would contradict this and would be better suited to a more rigid style.

Ok mate, thankyou. The player morale's is such a hard thing to keep up when you're a weak team and don't get many wins. Even when i praise players they thank me but their morale stays at poor.

Hey cheers for the help with this tactic :) starting to really get into my fm game again and enjoying it little bit of patience is what's required with this years game lol. After my two defeats to arsenal and spurs I've went on to win 7 league games draw 3 n lose 2 (Chelsea n man utd away) currently sitting 4th on 31 points scored 35 (highest in league) conceded 17. Played all big teams away from home apart from city n spurs so should finish at least in uefa cup position. As u said in op it won't win u every game but defo if u have the patience to work with it u will get results teamtalks are a must tho unless u have top notch assistant manager. Will keep u updated on my save at end of season cheers again.

Callamity, let me say first off that you are Football Managing genius!! This tactic is somewhat amazing. Here i have posted some screenshots to allow you to see how well i am doing with it, with half a season nearly gone already! As you can see my team isn't the strongest, not by a long shot, by your tactic has worked wonders it seems!
