My best tactic for FM14

if anything the realistic results this patch has brought us is a godsend, there is no real sustainable fun winning 8/9-0 every match.

5 ccc's against a team weaker than us, seems like a realistic goal
to be fair even in real life Man City would be hard pressed to achieve this away at palace.

im playing man utd. STC is Rooney/RVP/Welbeck( RVP was never playing well with this tatic) left IF i use Kagawa/Januzaj, right IF Valencia/Zaha. before update most of my goals from IFs and STC, now they can barely goal anymore...

yes, it is mate. works as before without the corner bug maybe even better in my honest opinion, I have changed a few roles too though. There is obvious tweaking at set pieces needed done now though. But this is what is in OP

Have you downloaded the tactic from OP this was added after the update?

the old tactic had a corner bug, scoring roughly 60 goals a season from corners,
It had tweaks to take into consideration the long shots being a nuisance.
it had wingbacks and an anchorman.

2 of these issues were addressed in patch, 3rd one is tweaks i felt were needed to fix the defense as it wasnt as strong as i liked
 
I have tried a number of tactics and ones i have done myself but nothing has really worked or got the team playing like i want apart from this one. Only used for a handful of games before new patch but a marked improvement from my team. Now on 14.1.4 or whatever the new one is called and first game was a 2-1 win at home against Chelsea who lay in 2nd place. This was with new version on OP. Four CCC's and a number of key passes.. good stuff. I think this will be my tactic now for my long term save.. thanks Callamity!

Have noticed the midfield three play a lot closer together, prob due to change in Anchorman to DM
 
Seems to still work well for me with newly promoted Altrincham in the Championship

This is the tactic I used to get into the Champions League group stages with a team from Andorra :D
