My best tactic for FM14

How is that possible? It worked great for me before the new patch, after that is was ****.

So now it should work again? Is there a update or something?

Just make sure you have a team that fits the tactic, I won the league and capital cup, but lost out to chelsea in the Fa cup final on penalties. I concede less from corners because my team has atleast 5 players over 6"1 also.
Also changing from Boruc to Ruddy increased my clean sheets substantially.
So I think having the right players in the team is Key now.

Must admit I have had simply awful results with this tactic since the update.

Anyone else got problems at home against teams in the lower places in the league? Like, I beat 1st to 12th, but loose or draw against teams from 13th to 24th..

Ti don't see this problem in my save,, maybe a complacency issue, although teams in the lower end will be more defensive against you
 
yeah, it seems I cant break down teams that plays defensive against me.. maybe I need some players with more creativitystats..

you can also try adding run at defense and increasing the tempo, this will unease teams who are more defensive and pull them around a bit more

I take it back. I had not won in 13 matches, then as soon as I posted that I went on a 12 match unbeaten streak... :D


By the way thought you should know about the game I am currently playing as the tactic has worked fantastically. I'm Kaiserslautern and started out in the German second division. I won the league in my first season setting the points record. However, that is not the good bit ;) In my second season (and my first season in the Bundesliga with Kaiserslautern) I finished second in the league! In my third season (when I had a dreadful run) I finished 3rd.

So a big thumbs up to this tactic for incredible results.
