My FM09 Last Hurrah!

It's just getting to that stage isnt it...we all want the new one to come out then lose interest in the current game. Hopefully it will keep you going
 
Right well I'm having a look at starting a game with a town I love in the BSPL, Chester. (Using the WeeGie update so they have been relegated)

I'm gonna have a quick go and see if it has any potential. I'm looking at Nathan Woolfe, he looks to be half decent for left mid.

Good luck, Woofle did a decent job i had him for 3 months last season

14 games into the second season and it's going great 2nd in the league and i am 3 behind Stevenage with 2 games in hand.

Keep getting games called off/moved due to having Under 21 internationals in my squad...******* me off a bit but things are on the up...screenshots at the half way point :)
 
Nice one Kris,for a while i thought you were gonna be slogging away in this league until FM10s release.
 
I'm doing a similar thing to you lot, I'm AFC Wimbledon in the BSS in my first season, I'm 2nd with 30 games played, made my own tactic and training, tactic is good but training is failing lol. This is probably my last game on FM09, so I'm gonna try and make this last, good luck with all of your games :P
 
great read so far kris, enjoyed it. Got to ask how do you take screen shots on a laptop?
 
What a season that was. Domination really!

I think i just signed well...into my pre season now 3rd season in league two and the guys i had on loan last year are all away to league 1 which shows the quality i had.

Once again i have attached a few screenshots and lets hope i can stay in league 2.
 
I just got promoted with my AFC Wimbledon team, finished 1st and now gonna try and get promotion in first season in BSP :) Good luck with your game
 
lol i hope it dont take till april 2010 for sturrock to get sacked hes doing terrible for argyle atm :( , well done on your journey though zoltan will easily get you goals on my game 2-3 seasons in hes norm a 15 goal a season league 1 player so he should do very well in league 2
 
Looking good Kris, well done. In my old Bradford game Ebbsfleet turned into a powerhouse and got consecutive promotions to the Championship

Just one question, what leagues did you load for this game?

Im the same m8 dno why i do it 2bh.
Im really enjoyin this thread i might start a similar 1. Dont know who to be tho maybe Burton Albion.

Not a bad start to the season in League 2. Shocking 6-1 defeat away to Accrington though.

Key players from last season decided to go elsewhere so i feel like i'm a lesser side now.Zoltan left Bolton which was bad for me because i could not afford his wages and he signed for Millwall

James Sinclair decided to sign for Tranmere on loan rather than me and players liek Owusu from Fulham and Sissons of Bolton also moved onto league 1 sides.

Mark Davies was a good buy though as was Pawel Abbot. To be honest i'm short at the back but hopefully my new score more than i concede tactic will work a charm.

If anyone knows any good finds for League 2 in the 3rd season let me know.
