As I was growing up, I was a huge fan of my local team, Afc Bournemouth. I grew up with a happy family, and I used to go week in week out to every game with my father. I looked up to him as I was getting older, and I wanted to be just like him. At school I couldn't focus my mind on anything, but the next game coming up at the weekend. I'd go home and study the teams, the form, the stadium. I just wanted to know everything. My life was going really well, until my Dad got sent to prison for 8 months, I was in tears, as you could imagine. I knew my Saturday football days were over, but bigger than that my inspiration was in prison, do I really want to be like that? of course not.

I was 16 and just leaving school as I finished my exams, I went to the first game in a while with a few friends but it wasn't the same. I didn't enjoy it, at all. Also it put our family in trouble, we were never a rich family, but my Dad bought home the money to pay for bills, food and the football, but now he's left my Mum to fend for herself, so obviously I was trying as hard as possible to find a job, but it's not that easy now'a days. I got my results back to find out I didn't pass any of my GCSE's, and that didn't help with the job search.

I decided to go to college to study retail (the only thing I was interested in apart from football). After 3 months, we weren't able to pay bills and me and my mum argued a lot. In the end I got kicked out, I was sleeping on the streets for 3 weeks, cold with no money for food, asking people for money. 'what has my life come to' I remember asking myself. I remember going back afterwards and my Mum had divorced my Dad, and is getting married to her new partner. It was horrible.

On my 18th Birthday I went into town, then headed to the casino, bad mistake. Although I waked out with £700 that's where it started, I found myself waking up and going straight to the bookies, pacing stupid bets because I knew I had money, I was living in fear, scared of gambling and still upset to see my Dad leaving us.

It was there and then where I was offered a job in management at the lowest level of the English leagues, a small side named Hamworthy, 3 promotions in 3 years saw a job offer come through, I had the chance to manage Havant And Waterloovile. I signed the contract and moved on, apart from Bournemouth I Loved Havant.

Please comment and any feedback will be apreciated to, update up soon..

It was 30th July 2010 where I took Havant to promotion, after that I was offered the job to take over Liverpool reserves, even though it was only the reserves, and I wasn't a big fan of Liverpool, the opportunity may never come again, I left Havant in the hands of the assistant, packed my bags and moved up North. When I told my Dad about my managerial story, he didn't sound like he even cared. After that I realised, I'm better off without him, My Mum and me are finally getting on, and my step-dad is now a big part of my life.

I was there for a year until I heard the news King Kenny left, 1 hour after I saw the news on SSN, I got a phonecall from the chairman asking for an interview..

Later that night, I dressed up in my smartest suit and met him in a local restaurant

would you be able to take Liverpool forward, or am I better off bringing a new face in?

I would love to be the manager, obviously I would need a budget behind me as there's already a few players in mind.

I would rather save money bringing you in after you took the reserves to the title last year

I'm delighted and would love to accept the job, it's a massive step up, but it's time Liverpool win the Premier League.

I went back home to my lonely house and sat down and thought about everything that has happened, since my Dad left. Everything has fallen in to place and I know I'm a lot happier without him. Shortly after my Mum and Step-Dad moved up to Liverpool just down the road from me, to show their support and also after my brother dying at a young age, they want to be as close to me as possible.

I signed for Liverpool with a 33.5 Million transfer budget, It was enough to get in who I wanted, and I already knew martin olsson was my first target to strengthen my side. In the back of my mind, my gambling problem was still there, and couldn't stop thinking about taking my first weeks wages to the casino, but I stopped myself. I wasn't the type to be arrogant just because I have money, I would rather help my family out, as they've helped me ever since. We went on holiday together to Spain for a week, to get away from everything.

Once I returned it was finally time to get down to business, as I had a chat with the chairman, he made sure olsson would be signed, and also would like to wish me luck for the season. 'Bring this club champions league football and I'll make sure you have a good enough budget next season to bring in whoever you want'.

This story is unbelievable, as massive chapter in my life, I'm glad I've never fallen out of love with the game...

Lets do this.

The whole managerial bit isn't real, but the rest is mate, unfortunately.

Yeah, the screenshots will be coming when I hit the season mate, no worries.

With Pre season just around the corner, I thought I'd dip into the transfer budget, and bring in players that were needed.

Transfers IN:

Renato Augusto 10.75 Million - Bayer Leverkusen
Andre Ayew 13.75 Million - Marseille
Ganso 22.5 million - Santos
Sam Magri 300k - Portsmouth

Transfers OUT

Joe Cole 5.75 Million - Sunderland
Jay Spearing 5 Million - Aston Villa
Alberto Aquilani 7 Million - Malaga
Stewart Downing Loan - Roma

Also a few youngsters have gone out to clubs to gain some first team experience, very happy at picking up Sam Magri, at the age of 17 he has a huge future ahead of him.

Pre Season

Northampton 1-1 Liverpool - Andre Wisdom
Shenhua 1-4 Liverpool - Fabio Borini (2),Danny Agger, Martin Skrtel
Dundee 1-1 Liverpool - Krisztian Adorjan
Sochaux Montbe 2-0 Liverpool
Espanyol 0-3 Liverpool - Steven Gerrard, Andy Carroll, Renato Augusto
Liverpool 0-0 Malaga

I will be posting screenshots for important games, after august.

Europa League qualifying saw us be drawn against Bosnian side Zeljeznicar.

Liverpool 3-1 Zeljeznicar - Suarez, Carroll (2)
Zeljeznicar 0-2 Liverpool - Gerrard, Carroll

Nice to see a good couple of games from Carroll, after trying him out to see if he's good enough for my team.

Starting the season now, so update should be up later. and comments/feedback appreciated.

It was there and then I woke up waiting for my Premier League debut at home to West Ham, I needed someone there to stop my nerves, and with that my Mum was round sharpish. I cam to the conclusion that my 4-2-3-1 formation has been working for me in the pre season games and also in the Europa League. Just a few days before we drew Red Star Belgrade, a very good side back in the day, in the Europa League 4th Qualifying Round, but right now my thoughts are firmly set on West Ham.

The players and I had a good chat in the dressing room around 2 hours before kick off, it was a must win game I told them, and also the Kop are expecting a result, big or small I'll take it, 3 points would be a nice way to start the season.

The game started as I nervously walked into the dugout, with chants coming from the Kop, 'There's only one Joshy Sheppard', that made me feel better and the nerves started to go. 24 minuets on the clock and GOOAAAAAAAL, Georg Margrettier puts the ball into his own net and the Kop go wild. Great start here for Josh and the team. We went into the dressing room at half time, 1-0 up and I was lost for words, we dominated possession, I just told them to no to get complacent, which in the 74th Minute we did, it was horrible, to be fair to the lad it was a cracking goal, but what was the defence doing. I made 3 quick substitutions, which seem to work out as on the 80th Minute, JORDAN HENDERRRRSSSSSOOOOON!!!!!. 2-1 and Liverpool win their first game of the season. I was ESTATIC.

Due to that being the first game, I won't usually do such a big write up about a game, the rest of august/september wil be put on this evening.. hope you're enjoying the story..

nice start to the premier league, nice signings aswell

With games coming thick and fast It was time to look back on my life, a young kid in love with the beautiful game is where it began, I thought my life was coming to an end at some points. With my Dad leaving the family when I thought he was my hero and inspiration, My older brother dying when I was aged 10, and living on the streets, how could it possibly of turned into me managing one of the most well known clubs in the world.

I took some pointers from my Dad leaving, changing my life round completely, I was growing up to be a younger version of him, which at the time was great. Until it hit me that he wasn't as perfect as I thought, he made my life **** when he left and he didn't even want to help me out. I guess now when I look back on it, I owe a massive thank-you to my Step-Dad who bought my family back together. I never regretted my Mum kicking me out as she was always going to be a huge factor in my life, as they say 'You're family is their forever, you friends may not be'. I lost a lot of friends due to my passion to football, and just not spending a lot of time with them, but now I'm glad I did. I signed for Liverpool at the tender age of 30, and there was no looking back now, my gambling, smoking, drinking is all behind me now, I have a big future ahead of me.

The first time I saw Gerrard on that training pitch, it hit me that I was actually the manager of the club, before that it never really sunk in. I've never been the kind of man to look for sympathy, not even with living on the streets or the passing of my brother. I just think, take life as it comes, however upsetting or bad it is, there's usually someone else living a worse life. I've also been a big fan of a charity, which since I've started working, I've given half my wages to each week, because they kept my brother alive for longer than what they said, if only it was forever.

The premier league is what I'm going to set my eyes on this year, a cup would be nice, especially in Europe but I'm more focused on making the Kop happy, and with my new signings, top 4 should be the case.

I really hope there's people following my story, and if you are it would be appreciated just to let me know, so then I know I'm doing a better than average job of writing this story, I will update 1/2 times a day depending on work and how busy I am.

Thankyou for reading, and I hope you enjoy it, just aways remember, people make mistakes, and things happen for a reason, live for the future not the past, R.I.P bro.

Brilliant hard hitting stuff, keep it up mate

I decided to go against screenshots, inless they are asked for, but I will put pictures of the premier league up every few months and also big headlines.

After beating West Ham, it was time for the Europa League 4th round qualifying, we faced a tough side of Red Star Belgrade, the first leg was at home, and we made it look easy, coming away 4-0 winners, with new signing Fabio Borini scoring 2, Suarez getting 1 and also an own goal, and as you can tell, I was very pleased with that and it should put me through to the group stage.

the 2nd leg came a week after, and I rested a few big name players, as there was no league game in between, we finally ran out 3-1 winners, after getting off to a slow start, that man Borini popped up again to pot one home, the other two coming from Gerrard and new singing Andre Ayew. This meant the boys from Liverpool were heading to the group stage.

Group H Draw..

Liverpool
Olympiakos
Mochengadbach
Genk

'Not a bad group, I thought to myself, the only team I may struggle against is olympiakos'.

Moving my focus back to the Premier league it was time to face a good Wigan side, but they proved to be no match to my side, as we ran out 2-0 winners, Lucas and Gerrard with the goals, and we dominated in possession, this was the first game my Mum and Step-dad got to watch, and they loved it.

I was very nervous before my next game, travelling to the Emirates, to face an Arsenal side, who have brought in some good new players. We got off slowly and went 1 down after 7 mins, and it stayed like that, until half time. I had a good chat with the payers in the dressing room ,to show me what they've got. It seem to have worked, as Andy Carroll scored just after the 2nd half started, then the same man popped up again in the 79th Minute. Luckily for us thats 3 out of 3 in the Premier League. This also gave our team a good start for September.

The first game of the group stage was about to get away and that was at home to Gladbach, I thoght after the qualifying, it should be Borini and Carroll starting up top together as they provided the goals, Borini smashed home two scremers, to give us a nice 2-0 win.

Up next was an ugly game at home to Fulham, both teams looking dodgy and dirty, and some horrible challenges went in, 11 yellows and no reds were given that game, we both scored a goal, to bring the game to a 1-1 draw, which still keeps us unbeaten, so I'm happy about that.

We drew Huddersfied Town in the cup, which should of been an easy game, but it wasn't until the 84th Minute till we scored, which if I'm honest, we didn't really deserve it, but goals win games. We ended this match as 2-0 winners, to take us through to the 4th round of the capital one cup.

West Brom I knw would be a tough task, and they decided it was time my unbeaten run was over, losing 2-1, with a disappointing performance, from every player, including the 3 subs I bought on at half time, onwards and upwards I guess.

We finished September in 5th, which is what I was very pleased with, especially as we have a game in hand verses Norwich City.

Keep the comments coming..

its alright mate for not doin screenshots! easy draw I feel for your team.
