i either wanted Dani Alves or Maicon so i payed 50 mill on him , money is no object with City ! and Santon would have taken a while to settle in Maicon is playing amazing atm so good signing for me and Santon i might sign next year or when ever i want !!

A great performance to get Stobo's men of to a winning start after a brace from David Silva , Setup two and round of his and the team's performance by adding his own special goal on the 54 minute .

Man City 3-0 K Racing Club Genk
Goals : Balotelli (2) Toure (14) Adebayor (58)
M.o.M - Maicon
A excellent start to the 1st leg after Balotelli gave us a good start straight away , we pressed Genk all game and deversely deversed our goals and kept solid at the back .
Ran all game at the Genk Defence and should have bagged about more goals !

Goals : Tevez (1)
it wasnt has comforting has the city fans excepted but a win is a win . Blackburn could have equallised many of times but the city back four stayed strong throught the game .Maicon controlling the back four and domanting the attacking area he deversed M.O.M again .

Genk 2 - 1 Man City
Goals : Camus (12 , 21) Adebayor ( 45+2)
M.O.M - Robinho
Stobo's 1st defeat since he has arrived 5 weeks ago , genk started very brightly and could have been 1 or 2 nil up in the first 5 minutes . The break-through finally happened on the 12th minute when a lap on concentration from Tasci let in the Genk forward to score and Camus scored 10 mins later for his 2nd goal of the game . Adebayor got the away goal that Stobo was grateful of and the second half city were the better side and were unlucky not to score and level . Overall Stobo's still had a smile on his face when it came to his inverview and he said He said to his players " dont be to disheartned with your performace out there we still took a comfortely 4-2 agg to the next round.

After a dissopoting peformance in belguim , sadly for the City fans it continued onto Sunday against Wigan . City controlled the 1st half then Roberto Martinez must have said something very strong to the Latics because they looked a different team in the 2nd Half , City fans were angry after leading upto the 85th minute were Toure and Given should have made the ball one of theres but instead N'zogbia sneaked in infront of them to score .

Player of the Month - Jerome Boateng
One of the last signings that Mancini made before he got axed is Jerome Boateng . He has played phenomenal this month not playing at his strongest postion LB , But Stobo is going to make him into a left wing back for his City domaniton !

Man City have drawn - Fc Timisoara , Hertha Bsc , Benfica in the Europa League group stages , Khaldoon Al Mubarak said he doesnt want City playing Europa League football next year however he did say he excepts Stobo to win this competiton !
Portuguese Champions Benfica will be the toughest game for the Eastlands boys , Hertha Bsc should prove tough opposition and Fc Timisoara will not want to finish bottom of Group H no doubt !

today saw the English transfer markets shut until January , Manchester City's new boy Andrew Stobo made the two best and expensive transfers . He brought in Maicon from inter for £50 mill and Mario Balotelli for £32 mill total of £82 mill for two of inter's best players . The other big signing went to Chelsea when they signed Luis Suarez for £23 mill . Arsenal were the most active team during the window and by bringing in 7 players including Urby Emaunleson from Ajax and Javier Garrido from Man City !
