Myself and the backroom staff have worked extremly hard this summer to try and bring in the best quality available to us . We did spend alot of money but Mr.Khaldoon Al Mubark did say to me personally " if you see the right guy and u want himput any bid in " and i did for theplayers i signed . I just know we have the right backroom staff and the players on the field to do this club proud and bring some silver wear back were it belongs ! .​

A good solid win from a brace performance from Adebayor who helped himself to a mom award and two goals .

M.O.M - Adam Johnson ​

a domanting game that should have finished by far more goals from City but by a amazing performance from Tim Howard prefented that from happing . Adam Johnson cost unease for the Everton Back four all game and deservely got the M.O.M award .​

Europa League Match 1
Man City 1-1 Hertha Bsc
SENT OFF : Levan Kobisvilli
Goals : Balotelli (45+2) , Darelai (21)​

a point deversed from both teams , Hertha started the better side in the opening stages and deserved there goal from a lapse of concentration from the skipper Kolo Toure . However Mario Balotelli showed all of the fans , city management that he can score free-kicks , from a power-house free kick fired in from 30 yards !​

Aston Villa 3-0 Man City
Goals : Milner (30) Agbonlahor (40) Heskey (61)​

Andrew Stobo was left fuming after that performance by his city boys , all of the games he has managed his defence stayed strong has a unit and upto this game against villa they fell apart , cant take it away from Villa , John Carew , James Milner , Gabby Agbonlahor ripped us apart from the first minute to the last minute . I will be making changes for the Tottenham game !​

I ringed the changes for this cup tie against spurs after our dissmial performance against Villa . i changed from a 4-4-2 to a 4-1-2-1-2 . This helped us regain the ball alot more having more controlled passers in the formation also.​

Maicon set-up both of the goals and always got up the right touchline at all possible times !​

An outstanding performance from our lads despite the oppostion our lads went right out from the word go and put on a show for the fans from both sides. Our Front 3 ran a mock all game and David Silva quick feet work , long range passing definitely destroyed Birmingham his overall rating was a 9.2 . I was over the moon at the performance !

Fc Timisoara 0-1 Man City

A average away win but a win is win and i will take that any time , Fc Timisoara keeper Costel Pantilimon i was chasing for a replacement for Shay Given played out of his skin against us and was unlucky to conceded in the way he did . Level on points with Hertha Bsc in Group H !

The Striker has been in lethal form this month , scoring over a goal a game 7 apps 6 goals !

Young Player of the Month - Jerome Boateng
The Defender has been impressive again this month and deserved the YPOTM , After getting my player of the month last month he was one of the contenders again for this month !​

Managers View on the Month​

Started the month very good with 2 solid wins , then a blispe against Hertha Bsc and Aston Villa , however we bounced back with a domanting win against Spurs then thrashing Birmingham . Ended the month on a high with a 4-0 win over Birmingham and a 1-0 over Fc.Timisoara

Deseverely got it after solid performances this month , Adebayor or Boateng probably would have got it but the got POTM and YPOTM and dont want them to be to greedy

i play either a 4-2-4 (wingers) and i play him winger attacking* or 4-1-2-1-2 Silva playing Attacking mid ATTACKING he bursts team open like a can of beans !

Why do people need to moan because he signed a RB for £50M:S

im not moaning im just saying maybe it would be more of a challenge not spending so much money for example tottenham got into the champions league but didnt spend as much as man city did

Arsenal deserved the 3 points today and after a brave performance from city arsenal were still to strong . Maicon gave arsenal an even bigger chance to go on and make it 2 but they never !​

A better performance from the boys after an dissapointing lose against the gunners last week. The champions started bright but we stayed strong at the back and a wonderfull couple of saves from Shay Given kept it 0-0 going into half time . Drogba took his goal well after a 30 yard shot wistled into our net . Silva ran a mock all game and set-up Adebayor once again this season !

In truth it was a poor game but we still got the win that was needed . Steven Harper played out of his skin and denied us in number of occasions .
