I have some questions to the OP:

1- why a Sweeper Keeper - Support. I don't think I never saw anyone use a keeper without Defend mentality.
2- how crucial is having a ball playing central defender?
3- is there any difference from the away and home tactic asides from the Shadow Striker - 3rd striker?

1-regarding keeper as per role description he will stay around penalty spot area so he can react if needed for oponent trough ball.
-regarding goalkeeper atributes I dont like sweeper keepers.

2-it is not crucial but it will give you few percanteges in posesion.
- also we are using play out of defence instruction.

3-only small difference is that when you have 2 strikers up front they swap position.

there are some people who even use all the time 4-3-1-2 tactic because it is better suitable for their teams and is less risky


70% concededgoals are from crosses,20 % from goalkeeper errors after cross and 10 % rest!

Miles fix fucken match engine same **** in last 3 years

If I menage to reduce amount of stupid goals from crosses It will be less stresfull to play this game.

This Tactic Is awesome, Im Middlesbrough FIrst Season made 3 loan signings and i'm killing the league, I use 3 ST at home and the Away Tactic Away from home regardless of who i play, It's extremely effective/

Even against the top teams i batter them with the away tactic (ive only played them away so far with this tactic).

I hope it holds up in the proper game engine.
 
Whe I first tested this vith Arsenal that was joy to watch.

If you have central defender with 19 tackling like Koscielny oponent striker is dead.

Bellerin 20 pace lol no winger canot overun him.

Ozil as Shadow striker insane

Well walker has 18 pace 18 acceleration, Rose has 16/18, and most def crosses are still a pain, they still get turned. But essentially now I concede maybe 3-4 shots per game max, but if all of those are from a counter attack cross from the by-line, I see myself conceding 2 at least. V hard to defend against.

this is what I am telling to people that match engine is broken

also goalkeeper errors

there are no any good defensive tactic around

most probably no

there are few interesting clubs what I want to play in future,

for example Bourneumoth I want to see Jack Wilshire as shadow striker

but I am realy ****** off with croses so not in mode.

Because of fucken croses I have realy small chance to win Premiership in first season.

I can only confirm that this tactic (atm) works very very well... I used into Vanarama and won the title first year with FC United... test it with Real Madrid and won the title and Barcellona (2nd) with 16 points difference.. now im testing with several medium teams... I'll put screenshots as possible as i can...

BTW.. no transfer at all

Been using the 4-3-1-2 for home and away games. With Aston Villa and i am flying with them. Beaten teams like Man City and Chelsea away from home. For sure the best tactic i've used so far.
 
First season with Leipzig and the tactic has been brilliant so far, especially the away tactic. Playing some amazing football really fun to watch. Best result so far: View attachment 123479
