He fully deserved it,all the France players were just playing dirty in the world cup. See what he contributed to Arsenal this season. :P
 
super Samir Nasri deserves it he's had a great season so far
 
If this is based on International performances then i couldn't say as i don't watch France much. But if its based on club form then i dis-agree.

if its based on a club level then yer i would fully give it to Malouda. If the award is based on the whole year and at club level then i think Malouda has been a better performer than Narsi. There is no dout who is playing the better football at the moment but im looking at it over the whole year in general.

Behave Son....... Nasri has been better then Malouda this year, for France and at club level.. But personally i think Obertan should of got it.. DOH.
 
In the world cup though France Missed Nasri badly

one player would not have mad much of a difference in that shambles of a campaign :P, there was already hatred and jealousy brewing in the team
 
Nasri last season and this season - 17 goals and 9 assists. Won the Emirates Cup.
Malouda last season and this season - 22 goals and 15 assists. Won Community Shield, PL and FA Cup.

Maloude is probably the only one who could have contested it a bit, but considering he was part of WC french squad, the desition is clear.

To be fair to him though, Malouda was unstoppable from January till September and got Chelseas player of the year last season and they won the league.
 
tbh, Nasri has hardly perfomed the whole year, he has only just started performing in the last 8-9 games so it was between him and Benzema the only 2 players not part of the French WC Squad

One plays for a superior side... So will always have better stats, Just sticking that out there....

I think a lot of it is probably based on form as well though...

I don't think there's any competition there, Nasri wins hands down.

Also, it's not like he had a 'bad' season last time, just wasn't as prolific as Malouda and was kept out of the side by urm.. Cesc Fabregas?

Nasri has kept up the consistency and improved a lot, plus he didn't throw a tantrum at the WC and Malouda hasn't found form this season.
