One plays for a superior side... So will always have better stats, Just sticking that out there....
I can see this statement leading to a mass arguement if a idiot shows up
One plays for a superior side... So will always have better stats, Just sticking that out there....
the only thing Malouda beats Nasri on is Trophys![]()
tbh, Nasri has hardly perfomed the whole year, he has only just started performing in the last 8-9 games so it was between him and Benzema the only 2 players not part of the French WC Squad
Benzema was never going to win it...
i just think from January to September Malouda was un-stoppable. But Nasri has only come into form this season. Not to mention Malouda got handed the France captiancy this season.
Exactly my point, I think he was playing on a dodgy pitch
*JOKE*
And now Nasri is unstoppable... Also, Nasri has:
a) IMO, scored better goals.
b) Been freely scoring for an out of form Arsenal side, whereas Malouda chipped in with goals in a free scoring Chelsea side.
He's obviously a good player, and of course you're going to back him, and i'm going to back Nasri, but I honestly think SN deserves it more.
He's also younger...
It is French Footballer of the year, not French Footballer of the week,
if its based on a club level then yer i would fully give it to Malouda. If the award is based on the whole year and at club level then i think Malouda has been a better performer than Narsi. There is no dout who is playing the better football at the moment but im looking at it over the whole year in general.
It is French Footballer of the year, not French Footballer of the week, if Malouda had a half-decent WC, he would have won it
What difference does team trophies make? That's like saying Evra won the charity shield so he should have won it ahead of Nasri oO)
So, you would say Nasri doesn't deserve it, because you'd give it to Malouda!
I'm aware of that thanks... The WC is part of the year though, so you can't just exclude a poor WC. Malouda was good for the first half of the year, excellent in fact, and now Nasri has been superb this season.
I was just pointing out that Nasri was decent last year (including scoring arguably the goal of the year), and is brilliant now whereas Malouda was very good before, and now isn't so good. Consistency and improvement trumps consistency and fall from grace
The Award has already been given so thiers no need to argue. Nasri Won it. Malouda didn't. CJACKO get over it.
Because Malouda was a massive part of the Chelsea team that won the double thats why.
