Well maybe try signing David Njuki. He was beast for me scoring 22 goals in 27 matches.

Had a look at him before the season started but he wouldn't sign for me. He's a decent player, I remember him form his Limerick Days.

Great month but it all went wrong at home. We got destroyed by Mervue and that
hurt since one the night, we felt very similar.

It's games like these that I absolutely hate.

We prove we are up there with the best teams in the league, matching them in pretty much every area but
we just couldn't see the game out; it hurt to concede in the 89th minute! This is why I'm still searching for my first win, we just loose concentration in the last 20 mins and can't keep up with the opposition.

And so our first season went pretty much how we felt it would; but right now, on the field results are not that important to us. We are currently trying to establish our position and find a squad of players who can work well together and represent our club well.

Finacially, the club is doing very well and I'm hoping we may have enough to buy our stadium in the next year or two.

21 year old Goalkeeper Josh Byrne has today been selected as the Fans player of the year.

The 21 year old quickly established himself as Summerville Rover's No.1 and made 27 appearances last term.
He are hoping he will still be with us when we turn Semi-Professional as he will be the first player we offer a contract to: He's a very solid Goalkeeper and we feel that he could eventually be one of the best int he country.

The fixture list for the 2014 season is now out and I'm feeling more confident about this season.

Our First Division odds have gotten much better, which shows the progress we are making.
I felt liek we got very unlucky last season, many losses that could so nearly have been draws.
I'll be targeting Cobh Ramblers for my wins this season since I feel there is nothing between us.

What a difference a year makes. Portland Park is starting to feel like a fortress to us. Everything we run out there
we feel like we can take a result from anyone. within 3 games, we had won more games than all of last season!

I've found something of a clinical striker in Bloger, having netted 5 goals in 5 games for me.
His first two came at home to Waterford United when he came on as a second half sub.
I'll be hoping he came come up with the goods this season and he'll be leading the line.

Sitting an impressive 5th after 5 games, we are favorites to finish bottom but I'm aiming for 6th.
Anything above that will be a huge over-achievement.
