I'm gonna stick my head out here and discourage anyone from buying a HP. They have a terrible record (last I checked, the worst) when it comes to malfunctions within the first three years. For quality laptops I'd recommend Asus or Samsung. This is mine: HP Pavilion G6 Laptop - Laptops | Ebuyer.com
apparently one of the best you can get for it's price (according to my brother, who works ALOT with computers)... probably not the best website in the world, but I am sure a more well-known one will have it![]()
I'd say it's a good choice, it's very good value for money.I'm swaying towards samsungs I've got this in mind what you think?

will it run a large database smoothly ?
yes it would run fm but im not convinced it would "smoothly" try looking for something with an i5 processor? a god graphics system wouldn't go a miss either. im looking for a new laptop and found a reasonably priced asus, perhaps shop around?old laptop packed in a while ago and funds are not the best these days
but would this be able to run fm and if so how smoothly
