Quite pleased with how this month went. Tried a new tactic and it seemed to work. Good performances by Shola Ameobi and Jose Enrique helped me stay comfortably top. A big highlight was an excellent victory over Boro. It is great getting one over on your rivals. :D

I was delighted to find out that I had won manager of the month and Ameobi had won player of the month!

CB: Steven Taylor
RB: Danny Simpson
LM: Jonas Gutierrez
CM: Alan Smith
CM: Joey Barton

Alan Shearer's Prediction: 2-1 Bristol City

Final Score: Bristol City 0-2 Newcastle United Man of the Match: Ryan Taylor. Scorers: Ryan Taylor, Jamie Mccombe o.g.
Match report: In what was predicted to be a tight game with Bristol City expected to come out on top, Newcastle took an easy win at Ashton Gate. Things started brightly as in-form Ryan Taylor smashed a shot into the top corner from 15 yards. Then, just 4 minutes later, Shola Ameobi's powerful header took a wicked deflection off Jamie Mccombe and found it's way into the back of the net. A good move by Newcastle. Newcastle held on and recorded a fantastic 2-0 win over a lacklustre Bristol City.

It is a big game because it is the FA Cup and I love the FA Cup lol. I am playing a 4-4-2 with defensive instructions on everything.

Hughton unveils Zavon Hines

Today, Newcastle United manager has brought in Zavon Hines on loan from West Ham United for 3 months, saying that Newcastle need to boost their strike force. Robert Green has backed Hines' move and Hines has been quoted saying that he is looking forward to the first team oppurtunity.

Nice results so far mate, keep up the top work!

Newcastle United sign Hot Prospect Iker Muniain!!!

Newcastle United have dipped into their transfer budget to sign Iker Muniain for £650,000 from Athletic. There are high hopes for Iker and it is hoped he can bang in a few goals from up front.

Newcastle snap up Marc Muniesa for 150k from Barcelona. Muniesa has a lot of potential and will be a welcome addition to Newcastle United.

hopefuly hines will start banging in the goals.

Just found this. Well done so far. Should not be that hard with Newcastle though.

Thanks Kris. I know it isn't that hard but I think getting into the Premier League will be a good challenge.

who took you over? Fans Trust? Board member? ...? How much money made available from transfers out?

I was taken over by some Cheapskate English bloke... Will be carrying on with this when the amount of stories die down. I haven't given up I am just fed up with 5 stories starting every hour or so... Thanks to everyone who has followed so far.

I'm just finished my second season with Newcastle and I'm delighted.I'm finished in 2nd place, but when was just 5 matches left until the end of season I'm was 5.Crazy ****.

Nice, well done was this in the Championship?

keep posting results, it annoys me because no one sees my southampton because so many threads get started and stopped, i know thats rich coming from me and i have learned to stick with this but some people make excuses after a long losing run such as "i lost my save" id rather they were honest and just said that they were getting ****** off becauser they were doing ****

I will post an update at the end of the season. Thanks for your support. Good luck with your Southampton save as well.
