I got a saved game with Newcastle too, we are Promoted in Premier League and I've beaten Villarreal with 2-1 and Tottenham with 4-2 in a Friendly League. I got beaten by Man Utd with 4-3, nice games, I didn't bought nothing in this 2010/2011 window.

Nice one, I am attempting to win the league without signing anyone. :S

Newcastle have enjoyed a good start to their friendly campaign winning 3 out of 3 games. Shola Ameobi led the way with a goal in each game. Hughton has been praised for leading them to three good wins, especially as morale is so low. They were especially pleased with the win over Hamilton.

Newcastle Inspire fans!!!
Newcastle produced some stunning performances in their last four friendly fixtures. An amazing 3-1 away win over Burnley gave them 7 wins out of 7 in an outstanding pre-season! The board backed Hughton by saying that he was already showing a lot of promise.

Newcastle Board hit Hughton with Shocking News!
Rookie manager Hughton has just been told that he is not allowed to buy any players until the next transfer window. The reason for this was said to be that Newcastle had a good enough squad to achieve promotion without spending any money on wages. This will come as a bitter blow to Hughton who has enjoyed a good start with the Magpies.

I hope so... I will be doing updates on big games, here we go!

Newcastle name squad for West Brom!
Hughton has named his squad for the West Brom game, he is said to be using an attacking 4-2-3-1 formation.

Newcastle Stun the Brummies!
Newcastle came away with an amazing 4-0 win at West Brom as well as having 2 disallowed. West Brom were rarely allowed to touch the ball and were left spectators whenever Newcastle got the ball.

I was amazed, I usually lose 2-1 or draw 0-0. I don't know where it came from?!

Newcastle Unbeaten!!!
Chris Hughton's Newcastle side have enjoyed an amazing month, winning every single game and conceding just one goal. Some of their most memorable wins were 4-0 over West Brom and a 4-1 thrashing of Leicester City. Newcastle chairman has stated that Hughton has the full backing of the board, especially after such a good month.

Amazing month all round. Thanks for following. (H)

Thanks I was pleased with this month, just waiting for a bad run of form now. :'(

I know this may sound crazy but why dont you take a new approach to your Newcastle game. I tried managing QPR and i used tactics that are only suited to big clubs, like the 4231 assymetrical for example. I ended up stuffing Boro and Sheffield by a 4 goal margin. However my players tired very easily from the attacking play and i had to pray for a takeover and ended up having 4.5 m pounds to spend on loaning in players.

I found out them Championship teams cant handle the tempo and attacking play of big team formations, and i used it to my advantage, However, due to my lack in experience playing in the championship, i crashed and burned on the 3rd season, when i got promoted to EPL and ended in 10th place, losing to Chelsea and United by 5 goal margins and only winning 6 games.

Thanks for the advice mate. I'll give it a go.
