[/SUP][/SUB]Chelsea 1 (Hazard 36)
Newcastle United 3 (Lucas Paqueta 3, 15, 20)
Lineup - Donnarumma, Yedlin, Upamecano, De Ligt (Lascelles), Tierney, Pellegrini (Cuisance), Arthur, D'Amico, Lucas Paqueta*, Kean, Pellegri (Althuser)
A great win as this was one game where I thought my unbeaten league record would end. Chelsea were the better side tbh but Lucas Paqueta scored 3 goals in the first 20min and that was that!!

UEFA Champions League Quarter-Final 1st Leg[SUB][SUP]

v
Newcastle United 3 (Pellegri 2, 50, Arthur R. 88)
Atletico Madrid 0
Lineup - Donnarumma, Yedlin, Upamecano, De Ligt, Tierney, Pellegrini, Arthur, Rashford, Xadas, Kean (Arthur R.), Pellegri*
I would like to think that this win should be enough to see us through into the semis. Atletico rarely threatened us in truth and despite the absence of D'Amico and Lucas Paqueta - we won easily.
--
v
Newcastle United 1 (Pellegri 45)
Manchester City 1 (Bailey 35)
Lineup - Donnarumma, Yedlin, Upamecano, De Ligt, Tierney, Pellegrini*, Arthur, Rashford (Sancho), Lucas Paqueta (Althuser), Kean (Arthur R.), Pellegri
We went into this game knowing a win would secure the title but it wasn't to be. We had Arthur sent-off just on the hour mark and then they had Kyle Walker sent-off so everything was even. At least Pellegri got one more goal ahead of Icardi here though!!!

v
Atletico Madrid 2 (Hwang-Hee Chan 70, Martins 83)
Newcastle United 1 (Arthur R. 88)
(Agg: 2-4)
Lineup - Convery, Sampaio, Lascelles, Maresic, Robertson, Cuisance, El Khatib (Santisteban), Rashford, Xadas, Sancho (Murphy), Althuser (Arthur R.)
I put faith in my backups to see us through and they managed fine although we did lose the match. Arthur R. scored his 9th goal of the competition.

Newcastle United 2 (Pellegri 41pen, 44)
Lineup - Donnarumma, Yedlin, Upamecano, De Ligt, Tierney, Pellegrini, El Khatib (Cuisance), Rashford, Lucas Paqueta, Kean (Arthur R.), Pellegri*
CHAMPIONS!!!!
Man City failed to win in the early kick-off which meant that we went into this game knowing that the title was secured.

v
Newcastle United 3 (Cuisance 8, Sancho 22, Rashford 37)
Leicester City 0
Lineup - Convery, Sampaio, Lascelles (Okoro), Maresic, Robertson, Cuisance*, El Khatib (Evans), Rashford, Xadas, Sancho (Arthur R.), Althuser
I rested my first XI for the two big cup matches coming up. Donnarumma would have played but he was injured so he missed his first league game for us.

v
Newcastle United 4 (D'Amico 18, 28, Kean 31, 52)
Liverpool 2 (Belotti 40, 86)
Lineup - Donnarumma, Yedlin, Upamecano, De Ligt, Tierney, Pellegrini (Cuisance), Arthur, D'Amico, Lucas Paqueta, Kean*, Pellegri
An entertaining semi-final and both teams could easily have scored more. We will play Man Utd in the final.

UEFA Champions League Semi-Final 1st Leg
v
Newcastle United 4 (Kean 20, 78, Pellegri 33, 55pen)
Bayern Munich 3 (Goretzka 10, Kane 60, Muller 70)
Lineup - Donnarumma, Yedlin, Upamecano, De Ligt, Tierney (Robertson), Pellegrini (Cuisance), Arthur, D'Amico, Lucas Paqueta, Kean*, Pellegri
While I am naturally delighted that we won the match I am seriously ****** off that we conceded 3 goals when they only had 5 shots!!!! We better not rue those 3 away goals conceded.

[/SUP][/SUB]Bournemouth 0
Newcastle United 3 (Rashford 21, Althuser 52, Evans 75)
Lineup - Convery, Sampaio, Lascelles, Maresic, Robertson, Cuisance (Evans), El Khatib, Rashford (Murphy), Xadas*, Sancho, Althuser (Arthur R.)
Every time I play my backups I run the risk of losing our unbeaten league campaign but once again my backups came in and did well. I signed Tom Evans from Bournemouth and he scored his 2nd goal for us against his old club here. I may loan him out next season though.
--
SUMMARY
The penultimate month of the season was tough but very good!!! We clinched the title and not only that we have extended our lead to a massive 23pts with 2 games to go. We have scored 127 league goals and need 2 more to break our own record and 2 more points to reach 100.
In the FA Cup we beat Liverpool 4-2 to set up a final with Man Utd and we could face them in the Champions League final if they overcome Man City and we manage to get something in our 2nd leg away to Bayern Munich.
Next month is huge!!!!!
