hello I've been thinking about giving people a legends base squad of any club in the world, seen as its nearly December (Christmas :D)

so give me a couple of days or a week to built it up and number of players you would like in the squad can be for an era and I'll post it up onto the fm-base asap (IF YOU WANT AN INTERNATIONAL SQUAD I could create them up but it will be in a squad okay:))

these are just e.g.
Liverpool (Double UEFA Champions League from the 70s)
Nottingham Forest (same as Liverpool)
Manchester United 1968 squad (with Best, Law & Charlton)
Lisbon Lions (Celtic 1967 squad)
Arsenal (2003/04 unbeatable squad)
AFC Ajax "Total Football squad"
Leeds "Damed" United from the late 60/70s

right guys I've using the Legends Database from Football Manager 2009 as a template and built on it I have have screenshots if you would like to see, I'm still creating it up

too do list
Legends Database
ROI League
Melchester United database

please read the word .doc before place it into the folder

You should turn it into a proper database. Good Idea.

Excellent idea mate. Looking forward to some of this stuff.

The Benfica team of the 60's should definitely be in there :)
A guy from SI Forums called zeus also makes these databases

i think you should make an everton team from when they could actually win a game :)

That would be a hard challenge. :P;)

Can you do West Ham United in the Mid 60s. Thanks.

I'll get to work on it right away :D

if I do it as a proper database I'll create a legends league and cup to go with it but that might take a while :D so I'll start with the West Ham One from the 60s

Note - instead of bumping my thread I'll edit the last post, um guys I'm using the MAC version of FM 2010 :(, but I'll upload pics in how you can get the database to work on the PC (if it works) also my files go as .xml which is quite weird oO) but I keep them in the data editor folder and my FM 2010 can pick them up

(iMAC users)

Finder > Documents > Sport Interactive > Football Manager 2010 > Data Editor

also is there a thread that shows you how to get your database to work?

.xml files will work with PC ;)

but looking forward to this, screenshots look promising :D

Newcastle of 1999-2003 would be good too.
Aston Villa of the 70s.
Tottenham of the 60s-70s (when they won UEFA Cup).

if you want any questions feel free to ask me who's in what team and who's the managers are ^^)

also guys I tried removing the squad and added the squads you wanted, bad news ever player was doubled up :@, so I'm just created a large database with legends from past and persent time-line
