Without starting a new save you get all changes, excluding the database changes.
Although I don't think they actually made database changes at all. Even if they did they're small...
I know I won't start a new save in any case...

Guys I've started a game with Charlton(patch 11.2.0) Can I download the hotfix 11.2.1 and it will work in my Charlton game, (save compatible) ? :)

Yup. Basically if you don't have the Polish league or playing a network game, you don't even need it.
Install it anyway, nothing to lose, something to gain... :D

Wouldn't say it's 'throwing their toys out the pram'... When your save doesn't load due to a patch (obviously it does now due to the hotfix, but how were we to know when was going to be released?) then I'd say it's reasonable to be annoyed. Having paid for the game I'd expect to be able to continue a saved game whenever, rather than waiting for bugs to be fixed.

they didnt see the flaw otherwise they wouldnt have released the patch, direct words from SI. lots of people were affected, i thought i'd lost my palermo save, but some of the reactions were childish, they were worse on SI mind

Re-reading my last post I've worded it a bit poorly, I'm not really too frustrated. And I do realise it's impossible to fully test the patch, but it did annoy me when saves don't load with no indication if they will become playable again. But what am I moaning about, it works now!
 
Done all that, problem clearly seems to be steam isnt installing the 11.2.1 I only have the 11.2.0 and 11.1.0 when i start the game. Is there no way i can install the hotfix manually?

it has installed it. the hotfix hasnt got a database. check your game status, it should be 11.2.1

11.2.1 is an database update, if you go to preferences itl 11.2.1.
 
Yeh you're right. I don't know, guess I'll have to start a game and sed the save to sega or something. Thanks for your time
 
does the set piece bug (can change itself/defaulted itself) fixed yet?? in 11.1.1 they mentioned it, but it turn out nothing had change

apparently not, the problem they're having is the fact that it's intermittent... they're not sure exactly what's causing it which makes it difficult to fix

I've now played 4 matches since applying the patch and only prior to the fourth did the set-pieces reset (and then it was only the instructions for one player). It was the same in 11.1.1 - some games I'd lose the set-piece instructions for one or two players, others they were fine. It's only because I got in the habit of checking them pre-match in 11.1.1 that I noticed it in 11.2.

the current, current and current (recurring) tactics are getting to be a little annoying though, although I just delete them in 'manage tactics' pre-match.


Yeah it's one of those issues that's making us collective tear our hair out. I've not encountered it at all on my home game, I believe it has been spotted here, but we're struggling to find how or why it reproduces. It's one of those things we thought we had sorted that may have slipped through, just because as you said, the fact it appears intermittently.

My saved games still isnt loading?? i've downloaded the hotfix
 
Does anybody having Crack for the latest patch file. i am not having the ISO File of Fm 2011...so please give me any links which can download crack file of 11.2.0 version...

what's funnier is that some moron registered for SI's forums and asked in the OFFICIAL FEEDBACK THREAD for a crack!!!

now THAT was stupid! XD
 
still cant play, at the end of every 1st game i play i get a crash dump,thought the hotfix would correct this problem but obviously not!!!!!
