its a hotfix rocky does'nt show up on select database tab mate. go onto preferences and see what version your running, bet you it says 11.2.1 pal
 
just a quick question to you all...

I am going to format my PC now as for other reasons but, when I reinstall FM11 should I just install up to 11.1.1 or to 11.2.1?

Heard that new patch has a load of errors or so...

and will I be able to play my saved games on 11.2.1 if so... ??
 
network saves dont seem to work tho, the game i am playing myself is still fine with patch 11.2.1

Questions need to be answered about network games and this SUPPOSED hotfix, i hardly play the game now exept my network game with my mate which the hotfix has just made not work

FOR PEOPLE THAT CANT GET SAVED GAME WORKING ON PATCH 11.2.1

On Steam, Right click Football Manager 2011 goto to properties then local files, here click verify integrity of game cache. Mine found about 36 errors and corrected them once it did i cld then play my saved game and my network saved game again.

If you knew about this and it didnt help Sorry, worked for me so i thought id pass it on.
 
Anyone realised that the start day of the english transfer window is the 8th june instead of 1st july?
 
instead of a fix with transfers (which i knew wasn't gonna be fixed with this update) i now actually don't have clubs only offering the market value when they would make a bid, they now bid some 500,000 euro under the market value (and of course still pay 17 mln etc to other club their players :( )
 
This is probablty to avoid the prep. to be reset as they did pre patch-wise. It is now hidden if you have ordered your assistant manager to deal with it. Untick this box if you want to do match prep. yourself and then it will be visible again.
 
Jump back to EURO cup an Premier league instead EUROPA league and Barclays Premier League + some minor errors.
Don`t know what to do?!?
 
I install the 11.2.1 update for fm 11 ,but the editor or the new game it doesn't recognise him,it only appears the 11.1.1 and original??I've tried 2 versions (PC boxed,PC Patch or something like that).
 
when i attempted to update the 11.1 patch to 11.2 it said violation found in skins.fmf .(similar to that)

What do i do now

Please help guys
 
Does any one know when the patch will be available on steam in the U.S??
 
The patch has been available for a week so steam should have automatically updated your game for you by now. Unless you where playing in offline mode or something.
 
Ya hasn't updated, and i'm not in offline mode. I just have 11.2.0, or is it updated but just .0 instead of .1
 
11.2.1 is not a database update, so when you start a new game it will say 11.2. The game itself will be 11.2.1 though.
