Phil Swarbrick: Evening Standard, Welcome to Paddington James. Do you feel that your ambitions are met by the chairman?
King: I do, yes. Our discussions are often creative and there are a lot of good ideas floated which promise good things for the future.
Swarbrick: Do you feel the expectations given to you are realistic?
King: I’m happy with the direction we are going in. We all just want to be the best.
James Shenton: Football League Paper, why did you join Paddington?
King: The ambition. They want success just as much as I want it.
Swarbrick: Is League 1 your main focus?
King: Absolutely, nothing is more important than a solid league performance.
Shenton: It’s often said that money buys success in football, do you agree?
King: I wouldn’t say that. But since this is a new club I would say that money will play an important part at this club.
Swarbrick: How do you see your management style?
King: I want the players to come to me with anything.
