Patch 11.1.1 Now Available! Aka 'Hotfix'

Hi everyone,

I’m happy to announce that we’ve released a 11.1.1 patch for Football Manager 2011.

After a number of issues were raised on our forums it was decided that we would release a patch/hotfix addressing some of these issues - including issues related to the Spanish league suspensions and the French national team.

The patch can be installed without installing the 11.1 patch first, or can be installed over the top. Remember Steam will auto-patch and there are separate patches for Digital Downloaded versions and Boxed ‘Disc’ versions.

- Ignore jumping attribute guidelines for DB players with the attribute filled in.
- Fixed a problem with squad registrations of clubs who have been newly promoted/relegated.
- Fixed Custom View disappearing
- Fixed registration button not working
- Remembering set piece instructions
- Returning missing reputation column
- Remember settings of widgets between each match

Transfers

- Player loses transfer budget but doesn't sign player
- Bosman ruling working correctly outside of England

League Rules
=============
- Fixed issue regarding Spanish Suspension Issues
- Fixed issue when league season not properly scheduled

- French international bans now don't get applied to club friendlies.

- Fixed issue with relegation playoffs from parent competitions.

will you be able to continue your recent save and the patch will be enabled or will you have to start a new game for it to work?

Ahh nice good I never downloaded the 11.1 patch. Would directly download this one
 
Hope the yellow card bug is sorted. My teams had more bookings than the Hilton hotel.

I was wondering why 'FM11 had finished downloading.'
 
Has any body using steam had it updated mine still reads. 11.1.0. I want to see if it fixed the crash dump error I couldn't get round.

I bought the game through steam, always had the game match crash during the first game. Just had the update, and instead of crashing in the first game, it now pauses and then when you press play it crashes :O this is becoming a joke now :(
 
Hmm... i download the patch now 2 times. and when i try to start new game, is still says version 11.1.0 ... any ideas?

it wont change on the outside becuase there is no new data. check in game status, it should say 11.1.1

Eds, blame dunc for the name change, which has proved universally unpopular so far
