No footballers deserve to be knighted in my opinion.
 
Don't think Footballers deserved to be Knighted in my opinion, they haven't really done much (like 'Sir 'John Madejski)

Hardly any players should be knighted, just should only be the influentail ones, or ones that done something different, or special for England.
 
I think Dario Gradi is probably the most deserving, for his service to football and his continued development of young talent.
 
Not a player or a knighthood but Rafa deserves some recognition for showing the other English teams how to win in Europe. ;)

I guess OBE's were just easier to get when Houllier was in charge.
