Vince Cable> all :)

Communism is interesting, I think that looking at it purely on paper it's a pretty good concept that would work, but the problem is when putting it into practice how do you avoid the inevitable greed and self service of humankind?

used to be a fan of blair and labour but I just think there all useless so would just vote for green.

Communism is very effective in small comunieties or countries but as you said inevitably human greed will occur meaning cummunism will never work in large countries such as Russia or China.

Politics DOES excite me; so... When i'm older i'm going to pursue a career in politics- The Labour Party to be exact. Tony Blair was brilliant as is Gordon Brown( he is perhaps the most hard done by individual EVER!!). People need to wake up to the fact that voting outside the big 3 is useless- you're not going to get anywhere. Labour is the party for the future so get with it.
Unfortunately the Conservatives are gaining strength as stupid people continue to blame the recession on Labour. It's WORLDWIDE people get over it!!

Yeah I agree about the Conservatives. They do seem an awful party. It's just a shame they will most likely win the next election as the general public just seem very anti-labour now.

This is the attitude I hate. This essentially ruins politics, if people don't vote for the parties they believe in because they don't think they'll win then we essentially get a dictatorship of the three parties. I do not necessarily agree with the far left or far right parties, but if this is what people believe in, they should vote for these parties.

Thanks Sean- finally somebody talks sense!! Unfortunately it always happens in life. People are tired of labour now as they have been in 12 years and they look to blame them for unavoidable occurences.

No Urbernisation. People vote for small parties because they agree with 1 or 2 of their policies such as climate change for the green party or no immigration from the BNP but you never fully know what minor parties' stances are on key issues and these parties do not have the depth in their 'fan base' to sufficiently rule a country.

Both parties aren't exactly great. Once a party has been in power for a long time things tend to go abit stale! Besides it doesn't help with all the scandals that have gone on within the party! Lol

As for my own view on Politics, I enjoy everything about it. None of the parties atm hold any interest for me, but I'm going to wait until the next year when they bring out the manifesto's for the General Election. I certainly won't be voting Labour though.

So you would be happy if in England we only had 3 parties to choose from for the whole of our foreseeable future? 3 parties cannot fully encompass the political spectrum, for example who is a true socialist going to vote for? Central labour? Hmm, no. All it takes is a little research and an active interest to find the best party to suit you, no matter whether minor or major.

100% agree. Except it's not just England in this Union you know - even if others are in it reluctantly. ;)

no immigration from the BNP

NO-ONE SHOULD VOTE FOR THE BNP ANYWAY!!!!! :@

3 posts, probably just a little confused about the forums. eazvynho, ask in the proper forum/threat.

And I only said England because when you include the other nations of the UK you have some other major parties to look at rather than just the main 3 in England.http://www.fm-base.co.uk/forum/../../member.php?u=66900

I know, I was just trying to **** stir a little and I appologise (how on earth do you spell that btw??) for doing so. ^^)

And why not?

I'm not particularly happy with some of the choices the party has made with how they have governed this country for the past 10 years. Yes they have brought in some good legislation, but they are just as sleazy as the Conservatives were, when they were in power.

am i still aloud to post on this thread after getting an infration here
