20 years experience in the series...still **** haha
I spend alot of my time playing this game, creating tactics that are very continental and stylish, i admit they dont always work so occasionally i will download a tactic of this site and tweak it to suit my own squad (which you must do, unless the tactic is used by the creator on an identical team).
So anyway, i might not be the only person on this site whom when taking over a struggling club insert the tactics immediately and expect results because they have a good squad who are under performing, and 9/10 this fails miserably (im not saying it will for everyone, maybe just those who are not pure tacticians).
Thus, i started new save and took over PSG and won pretty much everything to start me off (using a mixture of my own tactics and Jassar's respectively)
so once i done that i then started taking over big clubs who were under performing and testing the best way to bring them back to the big time.
I took over Liverpool, Man utd, man city and Newcastle from the premiership all teams were sitting in the bottom half of the table. when i took over i imposed the lavish and stylish tactics and tweaked them to suit the squad, but my results were inconsistent. so i thought what if the best idea was to go back to basics and build the team back up getting the mentality and morale up first.
so i went back to basics and designed a 442 nothing out the ordinary and your typical balanced/average training with def pos away from home and att at home, and the results came!, the football was stable and positive and all the clubs i mentioned above i went on massive win streaks, when the morale in the squad was superb i then started to tweak tactics and imput the more lavish tactics into easier games and i used this process on all the clubs and i was back in the big time winning trophies and champions league football.
so i suppose what im trying to say is, build from basic, dont try and become jose mourinho overnight. start with 442. and the results will come!
wish i could post my results but i started a new game, and then decided to post on here.
