What the **** is with the team talks in this game?

It doesn't matter what i say to them they always get ****** and lose motivation its a joke. I have read umpteen team talk guides and i use the advice in them but my players always lose motivation.

Had the game a week and when it isn't crashing or freezing, its the team talks that **** me over. How are you supposed to win games when no matter what you say to your team they take the ******* huff.

I really regret buying this game especially after saying last year i'g never buy another FM.
 
Maybe you should let your assistant take the team talks. Usually he knows what to say for them to react well.
 
Playing as Mallorca in the Liga BBVA and I've had an okay form so far (wins for all home matches and Spanish Cup matches except a 4-0 against Barca, alternating losses and draws in the away matches) until the latter half of October and now I'm losing at home even to small teams in the league. -___-

I have tried that as well and 9/10 it has the same results of half the team losing motivation. My assistant isn't good tactically so i refer to one of my coaches who has the highest tactical stats but it still makes no difference.

I can beat any team with Lille, trashed Milan st San Siro, also Arsenal at Emirates. Dominating in Ligue 1 against Lyon, Psg and Marseille but no mather what, I cant beat Caen, cant score against them, cant draw....boogey team I guess.
 
Playing as Chelsea and we were playing Tottenham. First of all my two full backs get injured in first 30mins but we get threw to half time leading 1-0. So i tell the players dont get complacent so they all of them 'seem to gain focus'. I get a goal just afte halftime but the players think th game is over and let Spurs score 2 goals!!!

Yeah the game is a ******* joke. Same for the retarded injuries and the ****** up match engine. Seriously a game that causes so much frustration is just fundamentally flawed. I quit playing for same months, but recently i gave it a go again. Already regret it. Never played a game that causes so much anger and frustrations. Bah.
 
I'm Bayern (1st) playing against M'Gladbach (2nd) at home, after battering them for most of the game we finally get the breakthrough in the 92nd min (4mins of stoppage time). Straight from kick-off gladbach go and equalise, no time to change my tactics or do anything to prevent it.

It isn't about their tactical ability when it comes to team-talks, it's about motivation skills

Started a save with Swansea so i'll see how that goes as the *** manager i hired seems a bit better so far.
 
I have resigned from Valencia after being unable to keep 5-1 advantage in the CL Quarter-finals.
 
So here s where i am
QPR 2025 6 titles 3 champ leagues 4 fa cups loads of league/super/club champ cups,invested in youth, bought young players,turned them into champions.
4 th richest club in the world and i won a world cup with England
But i still only have 50% board confidence in competitions and the fans confidence is only50% in transfers/players/matches!!!!
And i cant for the life of me get my ten games without conceeding a goal achievement.
 
this just happened, quarter final Europa league :) reminiscence of Chelsea's game last night!

quite a dirty game! see my formation at the end of the game after Modric was injured, surprised I lasted so long without conceding! Went on to win 3:1 at home in the next leg, no reds :)

how else can i motivate the players without angering them everything i say upsets them or they dont respond at all
 
yeah it happens, 2nd season is better :) you will get positive reactions out of most of them! first season is always the hardest!

How much did you get Dominico for?
 
not really a big deal but still grinds my gears...bein 5/6-0 up and conceding 1 or 2 late sloppy goals and not really bein able to ******* the defence for switching off in the last 5 minutes

this always happens, things to do to counter the problem:

change your tactic to a park the bus style rigid/contain type tactic (you will normally leave your tactic as is and a lot of the time its very attacking, play safer and see the game out, drop everyone a position, amc to cm, cm's do dm's, wingers to mr/ml etc etc)

just ******* them at half time if they arent winning, and before games say go out there and impress me, if you win then good performance. worked for me at every team ive managed regardless of stature
 
gettin 3 players injured in 1 match cos of bad tackles from the opposition and not bein able to ******* the rival manager because of it!!
