probably a shot

You play Everton, you should expect that to happen. :)

Begone with your posinous tongue young chap lol

First time like that something has happened when I've been gaffer. Must be slacking or past my peak..........

I have a player who has had problems adjusting to a new country so he asks me to sign a friend of his which i do, but the transfer rules won't allow the guy to join until January (it is October). So the troubled player says i broke my promise to sign his friend during the transfer window and doesn't want to play for me anymore. can't even tell him in private chat THAT I DID SIGN HIM!!! Douchebag.

Yeah, and AGAIN.. first season, two of my key players break their ******* leg. Thank god for reload, screw this bullshit game.

i get annoyed at the fact u cant do anything about loans on this game, even wen u have more money the bank than the loan you need 2 repay u cnt just pay it off as a oner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

My target man regen just strained his knee ligaments and he's out for 6 weeks.

This adds to the list of youngsters I have injured.

Why it is always youngsters, I need them to be fit so they can develop.

I feel I should post this on Paul Lambert's behalf. Just played Norwich and they finished with 9 men after getting 5 injuries during the game. So yeah, it may be rare but apparently it does happen to other teams.

HAHAHA... second season in and picked up my third broken leg for a first team player. This game is such bullshit, and still people keep claiming "oh but the injuries in FM are totally realistic, because, you know, real players can break their leg too... yada yada yada". My god, how naive can one be. XD

edit: almost forgot the second best argument: the injuries in FM are realistic because the SI devs told us they are. (K)

The first season or so I played this round of FM12, I had so many injuries I almost couldn't field a team. Now, the problem is exactly the opposite. Because of the injuries I had, I went out and signed a ton of quality depth, now NO ONE gets injured and my players complain of not seeing the field and I have good young guys rotting away in reserves.

From what I could tell looking back, what changed everything was when I went and changed tackling from hard to normal for everyone but the opposing strikers. I think so many non D guys just tackle poorly and end up getting injured. Could be wrong.

How do i get a team report, like when it shows you the star rating of each player in all the different positions??

Click on your team on the drop down menu then click team report..

My tackling is set to 'more cautious', while my assistant manager handles opposition instructions. So that cant be it i think. :/ ****, I even changed all my players' injury proneness to 1 through the editor before i started the save. The game is just completely horrible when it comes to injuries and other random bullcrap. :(

Offering a contract to a free agent who then goes on to ask for double what you can offer. Then seeing him go to a similar club on the decline for half the wages he was asking for with less bonuses! Same happens with transfer fees, regardless of being in the same/different league, same reputation or whatever. You'll offer a fair deal, get rejected, another A.I club offers less and the transfer is accepted.

Just had this happen to me on a really daft scale.

I'm a good way into a game with Everton and Cristiano Ronaldo had somehow signed for Chelsea a while back. Now he's 34 and has come to the end of his contract, he kept rejecting Chelsea's offer and eventually left and became a free agent.

Even though he was 34 his stats were still superb, everything was pretty much the same apart from pace, acceleration, fitness etc. He'd netted 35 goals for them in the previous season as well and they had his natural position as a striker, not a winger now. I thought I'd bide my time, keep an eye on it and see who made an offer for him because even though I am doing very well with Everton now, they are still pretty tight on the wage limits.

Eventually it got to the start of August and not one team had made an offer and nobody was interested. So I go to make an offer and he asks for 97.5k a week, 2 year contract and 17k bonuses. I try, in vein, to offer 60k, 1 year and lower bonuses, he rejects obviously.

Then literally no more than 2/3 days later, he signs for Sporting Lisbon and he's on a 12k a week, one year contract. Unbelievable, I have been challenging for the title every season for years now, won one. Somehow bagged a European Cup the year before, 4 F.A. Cups and 5 League Cups so it's not like Everton are an average team anymore.

Really is annoying.

The most annoying thing has to be when you concede own goals of this type:

Opposition player running down the flank, crosses the ball in. Your defender just stands there like a f**king statue and it ricochets of his leg and goes toward the goal. The keeper can obviously pick the ball up, but refuses to do so. The opposition striker reacts quickest and walks the ball into the net. Most annoying thing that can ever happen, just because it's so unlikely to every happen in real life.

Lisbon's his home club isn't it?

When a player is a free transfer and there is no option to sign them. I had this with Franck Ribery after he was released at the end of his contract. I got a report on him and it stated he would be interesting in signing, etc. only to have no option to sign him. I thought that it might be because he was going to retire, which he decided to do so eventually, over a year later. If the game won't let you sign someone then just ****** retire them XD
