just thought I'd post some of my successes.
first off here is my managerial stats overall:
here is the league table from my first league win at Athletico Matdrid. went to the wire.
and here's the premiership table at the end of last season, knicked it on goal difference.
other successes included are:
Sunderland: FA Cup, Community Shield.
Athletico Madrid: Liga BBVA Champions, Numerous Spannish Cups and spannish super cups.
Arsenal: League treble (Premiership, FA Cup, League Cup) Community Shield.
and my biggest victory was an 1-11 away victory in the ligue as Athletico Madrid vs. Racing Santander mid season. (I went on to win the Liga BBVA that season, though at that time I was 3rd)
I'm currently in the 2018/19 season, still at Arsenal (whom I support) on a £99,000 a week contract which I'll let run down in order to move on to pastures new. I like to give myself 3 whole seasons at a club to achieve something, if I feel like it I sometime give or take a year. every job bar sunderland was offered TO me based on my managerial record. I left sunderland mid way through the 2011/12 season as I felt they were underachieving and that I couldn't do anything to make it better, they would be better off with somebody else in charge, sufficiant to say, they have failed to win anything in my absence and have yet to top the 6th place I got for them in my first job. since returning to the heights of the premiership as Arsenal manager, I've played then 4 times and won every game. however in an unusual turn of events, I've also played athetico madrid (my former glory team) four times in european competition and succombed to defeat three times, only managing to draw one of them 1-1 at the nuevente calderon stadium. as things stand in my current season I'm 4th in the league (as league champions) and don't look likely to win back to back titles, however when my contract runs out, I would like to go to italy to manage or perhaps take over another team in spain again as I really enjoyed my time there. I was offered the job as barcelona manager while at Madrid but turned them down and ironically went on to win the league that season. (so I can't really regret it! lol)
anyway wanted to put it all out there because it's 2am and I'm bored. lol. let me know about YOUR careers, not just your single seasons, love reading them all.
Jamie.
