Treble in the 3rd season as Leeds United, After winning the Championship in the first season, 9th in the EPL second season to winning the treble in the third season, Was expected to finish 8th so to win the treble was a massive suprise.
 
Just managed promotion to championship with Hereford United in year 2016 after getting promoted to league one 2 years ago!!
Great achievement for me and was really excited as I decided to choose a real challenge when i started the save. Started as unemployed with lowest past experience and then joint Hereford..which are in poor financial situation with no real budget!

My players like Harry Pell developed massively from a average league two players to a leading league one star which was amazing to follow!

Hope to keep the momentum in championship too and who knows..maybe i can even bring them to BPL soon :)

despite promotion i just noticed that my transfer budget is still 0€ :( :D

This was a Success for me!

Finished 3rd with Spurs in 1st season, winning League Cup and Finals of FA and Europa. Allowed me to sign Tevez season after and win league
 
So far... My biggest success is not getting my team promoted to LIGA adelante. What I'm actually most proud of is turning around the finances of the club. When I arrived, the club was operating at a loss which culminated in a total debt of around $1.7 million. I was bringing in $100,000/month, but was spending on average $250,000/month. Now, in my 3rd season with the club we're finally making a profit and I'm sitting on $500,000, which feels like millions. Watch out Barcelona!

Signed Xavi for 1.9m (pounds) a few seasons back. Now he's half-a-star rating so I don't use him.
Then I saw Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi have, I think, internal unhappiness because the General Happiness and Short-Term Plans were both "Considering his options". I tried Ronaldo but failed, and now Messi is. I tried to unsettle him further using the media but all I got was "Messi ignores Man Utd interest".

Seems like there's something strange going on here. How the **** do you have that much money to spend with Blackburn? They start off with nothing to spend on the update and 500k on the original (850k if you set to win the title) . You can also assume that the board take a sum of the sale of every player, at least 30%? So cut your 40.5 million in sales by about 12 million, so you've raised 28 million(ish) from transfers and a starting budget of between 0 and 850k, where the **** has the extra 90 odd million come from?

Me thinks there might have been a bit of editor playtime before this game was started!!
 
Umm, so let me just recap, your best success to date is that you didn't sign Messi or Ronaldo? but you did sign Xavi...but he has a half star rating? Am I reading this correctly? :S
 
I just purchased my team's ground! This was definitely a move for the future because I read a thread where other managers tried to purchase their ground after they had become successful and it cost them millions due to top facilities, loans, etc. The owner's did have to take out a bank loan of $1.1 million and will be paying $7,000/month until June 2029, but that's almost negligible and it's better than a loan of $100 million down the line with an absurd monthly for 30 years. Best of all, I don't have to pay the $180,000/year rent and get 100% of my ticket sales. So proud!

Best result i've had on FM, Think its safe to say we're through to the next round, Hattrick for both strikers, Keeper played a blinder too considering how many chances they created to only conceed the one goal is impressive, I've not scored that many even even cup games against lower league sides so to score 9 in the champions league is amazing, Welliton is a amazing striker 54 goals in 48 games, Over 200 goals in 4 seasons at the club.
 
Just defended my 18-year-old star from the advances of Real Madrid. When Madrid forked over the $10 million for the release clause, I immediately went into contract negotiations and managed to keep him for the $7,000/week he asked for after my initial bid. Also, managed to add a $30 million domestic release clause to keep him safe for a few years.

Just for kicks I loaded up the save without bidding and Madrid poached him for $12,300. Feels good.
