One would think these tips you've mentioned, TFF, are fairly obvious. For example, when playing in English lower leagues, I always have two full teams which I rotate entirely every two matches. It's the only way to keep up with the schedule and keep your players relatively fit.

On account to tactics, the full release has changed a lot in a sense that AI counter-attacks much, much better than in FM 15 and FM 16 beta, which directly results in nerfing of all those tactics on Control or Attacking we saw last year and this year in beta.

hi any1 know why the filters wont load now

You can try to load them the way Destro suggested in this post - http://www.fm-base.co.uk/forum/share-download-fm-16-tactics/350708-predator-fm16-20.html#post2903232

Sure, I have no doubts that for many those tips would be obvious but it might be that for someone they are a great help. :)

Guys, I'm sure that many already noticed that this year FM version demands to pay more attention to the squad building area in order to have any success in the game because players get tired sufficiently more between matches than before and also, there are a lot of injures and red cards so as I said to have any success in the game you must build your team that way to be protected against those issues.

Also, as you can see this tactic has an exotic formation and almost every team requires slightly rebuilding to suite the tactic and you need to do some work on the transfer market so I decided to add to the OP some tips how to build your team around this tactic.

SOME TIPS HOW TO BUILD YOUR TEAM AROUND THIS TACTIC:

- I recommend to have no less than 6 players who can play Central Defender position but It doesn’t mean that you exactly should have 6 Central Defenders, for example, you might have few Defensive Midfielders who also can play Central Defender position because Defensive Midfielder and Central Defender should have very similar attributes.

- I recommend to have no less than 3 players who can play WBL position and no less than 3 players who can play WBR position but it doesn’t mean that you should have exactly 3 Left Wing Back players and 3 Right Wing Back players , for example, you might have only 2 Right Wing Back and train you Central Midfielder (Attack) to play WBR position because Wing Backs and Central Midfielder (Attack) should have very similar attributes. Also you can train your Left Wing Back to player Right Wing Back and vice verse.

In general I recommend to have 3-4 players for every position and in order achieve that you should set every your players to train additional position.

bump :)

every single game i seem to concede from a cross or a corner, tactic seems solid but this FM frustrating so far

last FM i had immense success with all your tactics so hoping things turn around soon, going to look for a new team with a front 3 built around this tactic, there seems to be a very poor selection of strikers to buy, all good fast forwards have been snapped up by the teams in real life :P

I tried v2 balanced and v3 balanced. Both good but v2 is better for me.

Heh... Mate, if you think that this tactic isn't efficient or frustrating then I'm sure after you try something else you'll change your mind and this tactic would look just amazing for you. :)

AI has become much stronger and ME has become much tougher, also, "the short corner" trick has been fixed... so in order to achieve the same level of success that you had in FM15 you should have much stronger team than it might be in FM15.

P.S. Other approaches about 2-3 times more random and inconsistent right now.

P.P.S. I understand it's hard to believe until you see it with own eyes. ;)

i trust you but it s sad for ppl like me who like to play possession football with a typical 4231 :( really cant have fun with your tactic even if its a reliable one as i ve tested it a bit

Correct the defending of full backs is, in my opinion, absolutely shocking.

Crosses are ridiculous, always pinpoint.

Heh... with this tactic I have about 65-70% possession in matches, of course, such happens when I play with a top team.

Btw, in real life Bayern under Guardiola plays 5 defenders formation and we all know how many possession Bayern has in matches... so in order to play possession football it isn't necessary to use 4231 formation. ;)

P.S. Also don't forget it's just a game and ME works such way that it's really hard to create a possession tactic in this game and if you look at how Barcelona plays under AI control in this game then you'll see that it has only about 50-55% in matches...

THE TACTIC HAS BEEN UPDATED

CHANGES:

- tweaked the crossing settings for WBL/WBR positions.

- tweaked the attacking free-kick setup.

TFF Which tactic are you recomending to use still out of executioner and predator

So far with Sassuolo in Serie A. I'm currently 2nd, 8 points behind Juventus with 11 games remaining. Media prediction 14th. Berardi and Defrel (14 and 11 goals) have scored 59.5 % of the total of goals scored. Great tactic. ;)

had some decent results with the 2 V4 of these tactics :) do you have a more defensive one? or a third version I can tinker with also?

Have'n you read the OP ? TFF clearly mentioned that Predator's better.
