Got my Nottingham Forest team relegated. Think it only works for the big teams.

Ok, I finished 2nd in Serie A with Sassuolo, very happy. Berardi stopped scoring after the Juventus game, and went on an 11 games streak without scoring. He only wants to be transferred to Chelsea, and that's all he care about sadly. What I'm most impressed by is the defence. I didn't concede even once in the last 6 games, and I'm really happy about that. I didn't score that much in this period, but 2-0 once, 1-0 three times and two 0-0 results. I will probably sell Berardi, and get in some motivated quality up front. Next season I will beat Juventus ;)

I won turkish league , ziraat turkish cup and lost turkish super cup 2-3 :( .This tactic is really good for league Main problem is UEFA.

Btw tnx for share :D

It seems this doesn't work with smaller teams, i.e. teams with lower quality of players.

It worked during pre season but as soon as I started in the league I could only draw.

This tactic produces a huge amount of long shots. Every match I have loads of shots, but 50 % of them useless long shots.

2. season this tactic FAILED.1 win 5 lose at champions league.(Not good like 1. season.)

Won ziraat turkish cup.(Good)

Lost league cup because of game (5 shout 3 goal-2 shout 2 goal)last 2 matchs were really big joke.(Not good)

I will try 1 more season.

Hi mate!

I just wanted to let you know that I ran your Predator V3 through my custom database test (information about it on my thread). I must say, it's an insane BEAST in away matches!

What's the differences between v3 and v4 btw? Maybe I will run v4 through it also when I get the time!

Best wishes,
Mr L

He said he tweaked the crossings settings for WBL/WBR positions, and the attacking free kick setup. I'm sure you will get great results with V4 too ;)

Hi mate!

As I recall I only tweaked the crossing settings of WBL/WBR positions.

It's always nice to see when someone does any testing, especially, with such "smart" conditions like you have that attempt to reduce randomness but I'm afraid any testing like this can give only a very approximate result and it only can reveal very bad tactics and show just good tactics because FM is very well protected from such "brutal force" testing approaches that hope to find the best tactic and if you had time then read this my post it might give you some thoughts about how much effort it requires to find something using such testing approaches--->(post #174) http://www.fm-base.co.uk/forum/share-download-fm-16-tactics/350708-predator-fm16-18.html#post2902749

Anyway I wish you best luck in your testing and tactic creating!

Anything that can be done about the red and yellow cards without hurting the tactic? I'm getting a player sent off for 2 yellows every 2/3 games.

Hi mate! I have read your post, and I completely agree with you that you always have to consider RNG (rolling dices). However, with a custom database set with the right parameters and FMRTE, you can reduce the number of matches required to get a somewhat accurate result by a lot. I don't trust anyone else's testing, as most testers don't set enough (and the "right") parameters to get an accurate result in a fairly short amount of time. That said, I'd like to run two seasons tests rather than one, but due to time limitations, I have to stop at one. The whole picture, with the GD and the points usually gives a good indication as to which tactics are good/bad. Of course, I don't say that a tactic that got 82 points in a test is a better tactic than the one that got 78, as this can be due to RNG only. However, if two tactics got 80 points each, and one of them had a +30 GD and the other a +5 GD, then I would probably say that the +30GD is a better tactic. As for your tactic, in comparison to mine, in my test (which is for mid-table / sub-top teams), there is no way to say which one of my 4-4-1-1 Spin the Wheel and your Predator is the "better" one. That would be "the brutal approach" as you call it. But please keep in mind that I too consider RNG a great lot, and I think we agree on the matter of RNG:) What I can say for sure, is that both of these tactics are most likely "better" than the other tactics tested so far.

Other things a test is good for:

- Finding good home / away tactics (for example, I've learned that your tactic is a BEAST in away matches, and will most likely use it myself in away matches)
- Finding good corner routines
- Finding out which tactics are better for underdogs / mid-table teams / top-teams
- Finding out which tactics have the better defense, the better attack etc. This is helpful information when making new tactics.

Best wishes,
Mr L
