I mean player settings - should I use Michu as APM/A; who would be BWM (Britton, de Guzman, Ki are all more DLP's); how to use Pablo Hernandez, Dyer, Routledge on wings; who to use as BPD; who to buy as striker etc???

How are those that are Dortmund getting on with Lewandowski as a DLF? My team are doing great I think I could be getting more out of him as he is only scoring 1 in 3 for me. I really seem to have success with DLF on this in goal scoring terms.

I have a question for Raikan: what if I set up the CML as the playmaker? De Bruyne is probably better than both Fer and Maher in that role. Would I destroy the tactic that way?

Just went the whole season unbeaten in every competition won everything with man city was quite boring though so i'll try it with a mid-table team. BEST TACTIC IVE USED, thanks raikan

I´ve been using this in Classic Mode(didn´t have time to try the other game mode), and it´s working great on my Ajax Side. You said you rarely use shouts but i´m not even using them, there are no opposition instruction in this game mode(at least i haven´t noticed them, match prep i used what you said but have also noticed that after the players are used to the tactic, setting it to teamwork also works great. I´m unbeaten in the league, i´m first in my champions league group With Benfica Man Utd and Montepellier, i managed to win at Estadio da Luz with this tactic and beat Benfica 3-1 at home and also managed to draw Man Utd at Old Trafford and beat them in Amsterdam.

Just a quick update, i did have a not so good part of the season now(for the championship), where i had many draws, but hey i didn´t lose a game still.

The streak of draw´s ended, just beaten Heereveen 2-0, and they are 2nd in the championship.

Was having very swingy results with BVB... I would go 20 unbeaten, then no win in 10 etc. Was really frustrating me but I had put it down to a lack of quality in depth in the squad, any time the fixtures built up and I had injuries or lack of fitness, my results would start to decline and before I knew it I was struggling to get a win from anywhere. Anyway, my staff said Piszcek(SP?) and Blazscykowski(SP?) were both on the decline in the yearly training report, aged 29 and 28 respectively I decided it was time to get some funds in and rebuild this squad.

So I started my 3rd season with a solid squad, but the results were still not good enough. I had converted Modern Warfare 442 into a 4231 with Inside Forwards as thats how I want to play. I got bored of running MW442 and winning everything for the last few months on my other save.

So I logged in here to see if I could find a 4231 with IFs to roll with... I have Reus/Nangis at AML and Lamela/Fetfatzidis at AMR so I have to have IFs.

Anyway, I was on my way out of the CL group stage and 10 points down on Bayern after 10 games. I beat Inter 2-0 to romp top spot in the group final day, and I beat Bayern 5-1 and Im now 2 points behind them.

Will update when I have a bigger sample, but just wanted to post and say thank you for easing my frustration!

It didnt go well, after a fantastic start 3 away games in a row effectively ruined my season. I picked up 1 point and was back 10 points behind Bayern.

I am 16-1-0 at home, and the draw was a 0-0 where I had over 20 shots. Its the away form that has killed me, it is shocking. Also when we are good we are great and when we are bad we are terrible. Ive been beaten 3-0 more than once by mid/low table clubs.

Also, the times when teams have 2 shots and score 2 goals is unreal. Even though I have ter Stegen in goal.

The cup draws are crazy too, Im away almost always and in CL I get the most horrible draws. I got in a group with Barca, Man City and PSG, got 10 points and came 3rd. Then I just won my group with Inter in and I get Man City in 1st KO round. Any of the other 7 runners up would have been a comfortable win IMO.

I just read the first 15 pages to try and get a feel for the weaknesses and noticed many people struggling away from home, OP even stated many times he never uses an AMC tactic away from home in FM13. So I will employ this at home and some variant of 433 away.

My CM options are Gundogan, Garmash, Xhaka, Bender, Leitner... Then if I add Gotze, Bittencourt, Lamela and Fetfatzidis as possibilities there then I have amazing strength in depth in midfield. So 433 should really suit my squad.
