Im in my 4th season with Tottenham, and have struggled with missing too many chaces over the seasons. I finished 2nd last season, ang have yet to place 1st.

I have not made any kind of changes to the original tactic. Any suggestions?

Current Lineup:

GK Lloris
DL David Alaba
CD Phil Jones
BPD Mats Hummels
DLP Thiago/Leitner
BWM Sandro/Livermore
IFL Bale/Griezmann
AP Isco/Ben Arfa
IFR Douglas Costa/BenArfa
DLF Higuain/Welbeck

Please come with any suggestion you got. Im going crazy over the lack of goals :)

hey bud,

try play more direct passing, increase freedom a bit (you have the players for it)

change striker role to poacher

Thank you, I will try this :)

I still having a hard time seeing when to use which passing style? I thought short passing style was for top teams, and the more direct passing was best to use with lower rank teams. Any thoughts about this you wanna share? :)

not really mate :) I have a good Spurs team and play mostly direct passing

it depends on how far away support is from the player in possession

if you wingers/fullbacks/forwards run from deep often, then playing more direct is better as they are further upfield, you need to have good passers to ensure the ball reaches them without getting intercepted

if your players on support duty or a DLF/Treq etc, they drop deeper to pick up possession, then playing shorter would be better..

how isco and welbeck performance

Only had them both for 1 season, but here are the numbers.

League
Welbeck: Apps 6(17) Goals 10 - Assist 0 - PoM 2 - Avg 7.11
Isco: Apps 28(5) - Goals 6 - Assist 5 - PoM 0 - Avg 7.17

Isco is much better this season already, found his place at the team and such. 6 games in, and 4 goals with 1 assist and 1 PoM with 7.45 avg

Okay, but this tactic of yours is set to default passing. Which type of team is it meant for, or are you always modifying it depending on which team you choose?

I also have a Middlesbrough save atm. Was promoted in my first season thru 5th place and playoff, and now find my self in Premier League. I was lucky enough to get a hold of Adryan which is a beast at such a young age, but ofc im underdog. Would you just leave the tactic as is, or tweak it due to the underdog status?

I would not use the exact approach after promotion..

change to:

counter/balanced/direct passing/drop the defensive line to normal and drop the Cm's to Dm's

if you have used this to get promoted, keep on using it

This tactic is working very well for my Liverpool team, I brought in Cardozo in first transfer window and wondered what player role would get the most out of him in this tactic? Thanks!

Going to start a new Man utd save who should I buy and sell for this tactic? how I need to make changes in the tactical for man utd
