Not the greatest of months and not the best results. We are knocked out of the FA Cup and too many draws lost the momentum.

To conclude the month, it has been one of the worst of times at the Alexandra Stadium. Biggest problem is our strike-force. Donaldson really disappoints and McManaman and Zola are too wasteful. The "Crew" did not enjoy the 3-0 loss to MK Dons as they expected a 5th round! Unfortunately it proved that we are not quite ready for League 1 yet but by the end of the season im sure we will pick up.

We caught up nicely and due to Rotherham and Notts County having a bad December, we had a healthy lead. I (the manager) was 2nd in the Manager Of the Month award and Byron Moore's strike against Barnet earned 2nd best goal of the month. Clayton Donaldson picked up from last month and found the back of the net again and so did McManaman. Zola, as always, found the net with ease. We won the prestigious Boxing day match but the Cheshire derby disappointed us a little bit. Our "Crewe Cubs" the U18 side were knocked out in the 4th round of the cup against Hull in penalties.

A shaky start to the month but we recovered well. Alex Nimely is definitely banging in the goals. Zola has some good competition. Young 19 year old goalkeeper, Lars Stubhaug has represented his country at u21 level on 5 occasions. We are still in second place, 2 points behind leaders, Notts County.

Since this match was important im just going to brief on it. The match was started at a high tempo but it didn't work for us. They scored 2 first half goals and the momentum swung through to the second half. We scored a constellation goal. Gresty the Lion by mistake bit the magpie mascot thinking it was actually a pie.

Brilliant results this month. Got second manager of the month. To be fair no particular player stood out but none of them really disappointed. Our u18's are flying high in 3rd place in their league. We are second still after loosing to Notts County.

Last month with a full month of fixtures and if we are to fight for the top spot in League 2 then we must do well. We are 4 points behind the Magpies and if we win our first game of the month a playoff place is guaranteed.

The last full month has finished. the Heat is really on now. We are still second as Notts County lost the 2 that we drew and won the rest leaving them 2 point ahead. The pressure has finally hit and it's promotion fever around East Cheshire.

The season has been waiting for the last two fixtures and the battle for 1st is on. Crewe Alex have been confirmed as promoters but not yet winners. Notts County on 91 points and us on 89.

A big match. We had to win this game or Notts county lose was our only hope. We faced a very strong Rotherham who were just behind us in 3rd. I have never seen Crewe play that well we were fluent in every aspect of the game and killed Rotherham.
