We should also have had a penalty for the tackle on Kamara from Boughera, Boughera should have been sent off for his endless bad tackles on Robbie Keane.

And Brown should've received a yellow a long with Lafferty getting one.

Boruc played his best old firm game ever and unfortunately, the rest weren't good enough.

Aye, but in general Rangers dominated, though the first half was close matched. Personally, i thought we looked better with 10 men.

why should lafferty have been booked?? Brown tried to stick theh nut in him but couldnt reach his head!
and all of those calling for bougherra to be sent off, he shouldnt have been booked in the first place!! Anyhoo, delighteed with this result get it up ye mowbray!!

what a joke this so untrue kamara was a diving cheat and the player of the year boughy

Never saw the game because I was working so I cant really say but I wouldnt be surprised if Lafferty faked it hes done it plenty of times before. Hes just a dirty player.

I can't believe you are actually calling kamara a dive with miller, novo, boyd, laffarty and well ever other player in your team O.O to be honest it mesmorizes me, have you got your blue tinted spectacles on again?

Yes, all country's but England, Spain, italy and maybe Germany should stop playing football because they're don't regularly reach the CL finals.

----------

Yes unfortunatly chaz this is the sort of moron superiority complex we have to deal with week in week out. just because they support teams in EPL they look down there noses at every other league.
Worst of all is Ireland were people support EPL instead of the irish one....strange really!

Lafferty should of been sent off alongside brown, referee never gave celtic nothing as usual. also scottish football is ***** the standard of that league has went down alot compared to 3-4 years ago.

Never gave Celtic anything as usual? LOL

Brown's sending off was ridiculous. Boughera should've received a second yellow for the ridiculous fouling. This was why Celtic sent in an official complaint about refs. There were a lot of decisions that were really weird. My hoop-tinted glasses may be on though.

Boughera should have been off yes, I agree with the Brown red card though. Straight red may have been harsh but he was on a yellow anyway?

What do you expect from someone with 1690 in their name.

Yup. Sad but Scotland ehh

The game was decent i thought, Another example of how **** our ref's are however, which over shaddowed things.

Once again with Mowbray and Celtic, Play well and perhaps dominate play but don't have anything in the final third.

Ok honest assessment time chaps, the ref was poor, the passing was poor(both sides) and there was no composure on display? A typical old firm game?

Ok let's clear up the conspiracy theory?
1.Edu gets a Perfectly good goal chopped off for a Miller handball when he was clearly dodging a Kung Fu kick inside the penalty area?
2.Kamara should have had a penalty?
3.Brown and Lafferty should have been yellow carded at most?
4.Edu should have been awarded a penalty for Hinkels challenge?
5.Bougherra should have been sent off for persistant fouling?

There I think I covered most incidents without bias as best I can, doubt people will agree with me but there you go!
P.S. Kevin Thomsons best match for us this season but hats off to Boruc, thought he was outstanding and the difference from a heavy defeat?

I'm willing to agree with everything there other than it was Thomson's best game, he has had better, he was actually very good last season up until he got sent off for his ridiculous dive against Samaras. I actually felt that Hinkel got a bit of the ball but not sure if he caught Edu first, it's a 50/50 with most refs.

Honest as always Kev good man. I didnt see the game so cant agree or disagree but I trust you to speak the truth.

Good win for Rangers, not sure about Mowbray now, spent a lot of money and Celtic haven't really seen a return in terms of points, shame Hibs hit a rough patch, could of really challenged for 2nd.

Cheers mate,i always try and view the game as honestly as i possibly can,i'm not one for wearing the blue specs!

I think the general feeling amongst Celtic fan's that i've spoken to in work and in my street today is one of frustration and disappointment, all think Brown's red card was harsh but don't think it really changed the game that much? Ok Celtic might have left with a draw but not much else,no corners and 3 shots on goal doesn't say a lot in favour of winning the game?

It's hard to see where Mowbray goes from here? He needs the full backing of the board and a clean slate for next season,if he's behind Rangers again and loses the 1st and 2nd old firm games i'm betting he's out on his ****?

P.S. i'm all for a bit of good humour during these games and heard about the banner Ger's fan's unfurled yesterday that said "At least Barnes could rap!" it makes a welcome change to the usual sectarian **** on display!^^)

Didn't see the Miller handball, but don't think Kamara nor Edu should have had penalties. But aside from that i agree!

He went to head the ball inside the box and a Celtic player (not sure who?) tried to clear it with a very high boot so he put his hand up to shield his face and subsequently handballed it before Edu cracked it into the bottom corner? Could've gone either way tbh but even Mowbray said if it wasn't intentional the ref should have played advantage and the goal should have stood or Miller gets a booking like Fortune did? The ref did neither, total inconsistant refereeing?

Aye, there was quite a bit of inconsistency, though you did deserve the win. Not going to blame the ref for us losing; we looked about as dangerous as a snail in the second half. Our players were running around like headless chickens as if they didn't quite know where they were supposed to be. Rangers' passing was very good on the other hand. Though, did you notice Celtic's starting two centrebacks had less years between them than Weir?;p

Yeh was expecting Keane and Fortune to run at Weir a lot and get him to panic a bit with their movement but it never materialised?
I thought Thompson and Rogne were handling things really well and even when o'dea came on was good,in particular the sliding tackle on Boyd in the box saved a certain goal?
I said on the Robbie Keane thread he wouldn't get into double figures during his loan spell and with the non existent service yesterday thats looking increasingly likely? He didn't look that comfortable either on the turn maybe his knee was still dodgy and he'd have been better on the banch instead of Samaras?

No idea why Samaras came on. Why not McCourt? But aye, defensively it seems to have gotten better, just the headless chicken tactic that doesn't seem to work.

i agree lafferty should have went off but you cant seriously say celtic got nothing, the one penalty claim they had wasnt anywhere near stonewall, it could have went either way,

it was a tenacious match, not much classy football but there never is when these too meet, its about who gets stuck in and who equally gets the one or two chances that will decide the match

Why not Rasmussen? Mowbray needed a goal and he made some plausible subs? Ki for Fortune? Should have been striker for striker surely?
Mowbrays tactics within games are very strange indeed?
