thierry14, You've probably already found the answer to this, but if you have installed the patches then this file will need to go into the updates folder. If using x64 OS don't forget the (x86) after program files ( Programs Files (x86)\Steam...... )

for Steam with patch 10.3 it would be
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\football manager 2010\data\updates\update-1030\db\1030\lnc\all

Non Steam users
C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2010\data\updates\update-1030\db\1030\lnc\all
