The torquay story is not over just last night i had enough of challeging matches and needed a break so had a go back to my Man Utd save i actually have 3 months of Torquay story to write up so will hopefully be up today.
I will also try to post the 3 months or so i played last night as Man Utd
August/September 2023
Not a bad couple of months winning 7 out of 8 games and picking up two bits of early silverware although there was a set back in the Capital One Cup! Borracha is out for 3 months and RB Miguel got injured in the opening game and will be out for 6 months.

Jack Wilshere wanted to leave and his contract was at £185,000 a week and to renew he wanted more even though hes now 31! Mateus contract ran out and i managed to pick him up for nothing he has good prospects and has been getting some game time with Bale getting older.

I used my reserves and youth team for the cup game but newcastle put out a full strength team we managed to hold on but Luis Javier gave away a penalty at 101 minutes and Curtis scored it but Renato scored the equalizer by himself 7 minutes later.

Potes managed 8 goals in 8 games so you cant ask any more of him, he is just getting into his prime as a striker now so im hoping for a big season where he beats Falcaos goalscoring records.

A perfect month with 5 games and 5 wins but not only that some huge
scorelines and big results scoring 23 goals in 5 games.
Despite our goalscoring exploits Man City have been able to keep pace in the league with points and goals scoring 29 themselves only 3 less than us.

Pick up my 3rd trophy of the season with the Newcastle game being my only setback and Man City manage to catch up with me but only while i was away at the Club World Championships.
The Stoke game at the end of the month is my 700th game in charge of Man Utd so i was glad to win it comfortably.

7 wins out of 8 i was looking for the perfect month but QPR had to go and ruin that! We are well ahead in the league now and got a game in hand Man City score a lot (8-0 against Arsenal) but concede a lot to they won against someone 6-5.

Mancini is still manager of Man City is probably the biggest shock as he hasnt won the league in 12 years! Villas Boas only recently got sacked as Chelsea manager again after a second spell with the club

My tactic has changed as i have signed better strikers at one point i didnt have any. 4-2-3-1 formation always works the best, i like having fast wingers and a good poacher for a striker, my original 3 where Bale Falcao and Valencia, another thing has been Mancini has stayed as the Man City manager and they seem to be so poor under him and never able to capitalize on a loss or draw i have. The Premier league is always easier to win than any of the cups as it only takes one bad day and your out whereas in the league you can have at least 10 bad days and still win it!
