Release Clauses

Carlos Vela is a quality player, his dribbling and finishing are much better than when he was at Arsenal, but even then he was better than Bendtner! I'd happily have him back now, especially as we drastically need a backup winger. Besides, PSG bid over ?20m for him on my save, only for me to step in and agree to buy him for ?1.7m in January! :D
 
I would warn you all though, I've bought him twice in two different Arsenal files and he hasn't really performed in either. That's being played Upfront as a Poacher (which is stupid because his stat's are brilliant for that role) and Out-Wide Left .
 
I'm using him as Poacher or Advanced Forward, and on the right wing as Inside Forward. Has been decent so far, no fireworks though.
 
He isn't as good on the game as he is in real life, but I always buy him purely because of his sell on value.

hahaha this is laughable. Remind me, what have Arsenal won in the past 8 years exactly? Vela is a good player.
 
Vela is a very good player and this is the same Arsenal who had Gervinho and Santos i know id rather have Vela
 
This should be about FM14 Release Clauses not Velas ability.
But Vela is awful
 
If you are Arsenal Vela is a defo i sold him to madrid for 35m pound after 2 seasons. Bought him for 3.4m sold for 35m it was the best profit i made.

You can pick Honda up for free in the first season if you offer him a contract in January to join at the end of the season (he will have 6 months left) I did this with my Newcastle save.

I had an early save as Southampton (it went terribly, but that's beside the point) where they were offering out Dos Santos for ?0! On the first patch that was anyway, maybe they don't do that now.

On my save he's gone to Barca, but they didn't play him so listed him again. I've had bids of ?5.5m accepted (as Southampton), but he fails to get a work permit every time, I must have gone through 5 bids! Have you managed to sign him?
