Republic Of Ireland Vs China PR

Pre-Match: Ireland look to bounce back from the upset of World Cup Qualifaction with a easy enough match against China PR..

Ireland Team Line-Up ..

Team Changes: 10 changes from match against Montengro with just Shay Given keeping his spot, Also with many players instructed to only play 45 min's their will be many changes at half time, Notable inclusion's is Leon Best and Morrison up top again together and Darren Gibson playing from the start for Ireland, Also new tactic which will hopefully see us control the match and get a couple of goal's, Lee Carsley is playing the DMC role.

First Half: Great start for Ireland as Stephen Hunt cuts in from the wing and fire's into the bottom corner, Ireland 1-0 up after 2 mins, 10 min's later the Leon Best and Clinton Morrison link up well and play a neat little one-two and Morrison finish's with style, 2-0 Ireland, More domination from Ireland and Best and Gibson both have shots saved, Solid Half from Ireland.

Half-Time:7 Change's, Most Notably James O'Shea coming on right wing for Lawerence.

Second Half: Same again for Ireland as they start the half Brightly as Aiden McGeady whips in a ball to Morrison who has his shot well saved. Not much happening now as Ireland who are in full control of this match are simply playing a simple passing game and being patient and picking their spots. Morrison dispose's a China PR Centre-Half on the edge of the box and strikes the ball into back of the net, 2nd goal of the game for Morrison and his 12 for Ireland in total, Burke was right to bring him back. Noting of note last 10 mins and game dies out, FULL TIME.

Final Verdict: Good win for Ireland and a solid performance from Burke's men, Morrison showed great skill today and will be looking to keep his starting roll. Also the tactic worked well for Burke's men and im sure will use it in the next match against Wales.

Pre-Match: After a good win against China PR, Ireland now go up against a good young side in Wales, Burke will look for more of the same today ..

Team Changes: 8 Changes for Ireland as they revert to their usually looking side, Notable changes is Marc Wilson in DMC role and James O'Shea starting on right wing.

First Half: Awful start for Ireland as Bellamy run's on to a long ball over the top and shoots low into the corner, 1-0 Wales after 6 mins, And it only gets worst 5 min's later as Sam Vokes rises onto a Gareth Bale cross and powers a header in the top corner, 2-0 Wales after 11 min's, Couldnt get worst for Ireland. Noting happening in the match until Doyle who is about 35 yards out tries a strike and amazingly it nestles in the top corner, 2-1 Wales. Theirs hope yet. Ireland have 2 more chances but Wales stay strong and end the half with a 1 goal lead.

Second Half: A poor second half in truth as their was only one or two shots, Morrison limped of after 74 mins and with Ireland after making all their changes, were forced to play last 15 mins with 10 men, FULL TIME.

Match Verdict: A poor result for Ireland and it has really being a poor year for Ireland, Burke will be hoping for better in 2010.
 
Burke has being offered Porstmouth Job.

Burke has rejected the offer saying that even though he was flattered to be offered the job, he wants to work solely on getting Ireland to Euro 2012.
 
awesome story, bad luck on the world cup but well done for rejecting the pompey job!
 
Tough group mate, Obv Italy and Czech will prove a test, but don't underestimate Iceland or Latvia xD
 
good draw, should cruise through in 2nd at least.. czech rep. will be difficult esp. away from home but considering how you played against Italy before you may get a bit of luck and beat them this time - you never know you could grab top spot! Azerbaijan will be a doddle! i predict 6-0!

Agree totally, All I have to do is look back to the Montengro game to know I shouldn't underestimate any team.

To be honest mate I dont think its a brilliant draw, Czech Republic will be difficult and will have to be at my best to get Ireland to 2nd spot which is my aims for the group.
 
Well done and good luck though Valente has the sh**est coahc stats I have ever seen. Oh, and future tip, don't always put ads up as **** and desperate people apply, search staff with filters for tactical and working with youngsters attributes. You can search staff my going onto your team, going down to search then selecting staff on the left. Good luck though.

Team Changes: Same tactic as Burke looks to give it one last go as it didn't work well against Wales. Team Wise Keith Tracey makes his Ireland debut at left wing and Sean St Ledger comes in at Centre Half.

First Half: Poor, Best word to describe this first half with just one shot on target which resulted in a goal for Austria coming from David Alaba, Something needs to change at half time.

Half-Time Changes, Change of tactic as Burke has giving up hope on his last tactic and their is 5 changes made to the team.

Second Half: Morrison, Only on 40 seconds plays a one-two with keane and strikes the ball cleanly into the net, Good introduction by Morrison! Noting of note for rest of match and this awful game comes to an end.FULL TIME.

Final Verdict: A really poor game, Their is something not right with Ireland at the moment and something has to be done.
