I really need to streamline this squad. I now realize what Jose has to go through IRL, this squad is really imbalanced.

I was actually thinking of stopping the story considering the ease with which I'm cruising in the league and my best players aren't even in form. (Hazard, Oscar are performing miserably). The other top teams are absolutely crappy this year. City have finally put up a winning run but they're still far too off.

Actually, lack of motivation is the main reason many don't pick the top 4 (5) in the BPL to do a story with =P. I mean, my favourite team is Manchester United, but I couldn't do a story with them, mainly cause I won everything in the first year, was a given a load of money in the 2nd year, and had nothing do with said money. I think probably Liverpool are the only 'challenge' as such in the Top clubs of BPL, cause I've heard it's tough to go on with them in FM. Otherwise, if you're a good, manager, it tends to become pretty easy.

Also, A.I is rather horribad in FM, making all sorts of wrong transfer decisions.

Also, it's pretty awesome signing Didier Drogba back to Chelsea xD I hated the guy for obvious reasons when he was at Chelsea, but still have respect for his abilities. Tremendous striker, no doubt.

Of course, I know most of United, Arsenal fans hate Drogba, especially Arsenal, Because LOL!
Yeah I think I'll stop it, I don't see many following a Chelsea story anyway (The most hated club in England IIRC). :P I'm basically running away with the league ATM, hasn't happened before though, it's usually tight. I think I'll close this one and take over the team Jose started his management career with. Anyways another update coming up. Let's see how others feel (that's assuming there are silent readers :P)

Maybe I've just made an incredible tactic? I use a counter tactic which still is sort of playing beautiful football. High tempo short passing, it's great looking quick moves to catch opponent when they aren't in proper defensive shape. It's not hoofball or anything like that. I even won WC with England in first season, with a bunch of youngsters except Rooney and Walcott.
For eg, my latest game was against Atletico Madrid away in UCL.
*spoiler alert

Cruising past At. Madrid had never been this easy, Tobi's rating speaks for my attacking threat.

Xd heheh, I use an extremely similar tactic too xD My BWM is the main backbone of my tactic, but my instructions are slightly different.

I don't use playmakers, use 2 midfielders to dictate tempo, and one to make hard tackles. And yes, a lone TM upfront =P

That's good stuff, I use 4-3-3, My strikers usually get invisible during games, even Drogba in 4-2-3-1, even as TM. I never had this problem though. I have Mikel as my DM (Most reliable, his composure and strength is 20), One box to box utility player like Ramires (He performs that ask for Box to box as well as Ball winning midfielder, with his relentless running and unlimited stamina + workrate) coupled with DLP/AP who can defend as well as play through balls and has decent long shot (Oscar/KdB). Two Inside Forwards who link up well, One who can create the other who can score, both pacey. (Schurrle and Hazard) with a False9 upfront (Torres).

Nice! xD My BWM are my mainstay;; Wanyama and Papadopoulous simply do an excellent job. Papadopoulous in particular, has crazy work rate and stamina, and they're my two best players;; Wanyama also has "Arrives Late" PPM, which is a useful one to have;; Ward Prowse and Schneiderlin are excellent as CM, and occasionally chip in with goals too. Hughes is simply outstanding. But I mainly use wingers with specific instructions to cross to TM at byline. That way, my strikers are never away from the game, since they're essentially my best finishers;;

Chelsea, after buying Benteke in the second season, were selling Lukaku for peanuts (16 Million $);; Bought him off, so I managed to get the two best young TM ingame (Mitrovic and Lukaku) =P

I'm running away with the league, if anyone is indeed reading do tell me, because I think I'll stop the story as it does not have the ingredients of an interesting story. There's no fun in just winning everything in first season without even losing once. I'll continue the save though. I'd like to do a story with a lower league team but i like in depth stories and that'd take a lot of time.

Gd story. Keep going til the end of the season. Change clubs at the end of the season. Aim to win English, spain , Italy , France , Germany league plus 5 UCL from those teams within 8 yrs

I can't leave a team I set up with hard work, the manager who'll come will most likely destroy my work.
