Sahin signs for Real Madrid

I wish him all the best, he has been magnificent in the Bundesliga...hopefully he'll play for United one day.
 
Has no-one heard of squad rotation? He, Khedira and Alonso are 3 players for 2 positions, so it gives Jose the options to change to more creative when needed, to rest when needed, and overall a great rotation of 3 brilliant CDM's.

Im gutted that United couldn't get him, he is a magnificent player.

Good players never like to sit on the bench. Plus Mourinho also has others at his disposal e.g. Lass, Granero, Gago.

Joke aside, it's nice to see such a great player join such a big club (Real Madrid), but I wonder, who's gonna get benched, and who might leave the club now?
 
BVB will close up shop now to be honest, only possible exit is Subotic every other player has committed himself to the club and with the Champs league revenue + Sahin transfer they can afford to give players wage rises and have some funds to strengthen the team. Typical modern German club, efficient and just 'gets on with it' BVB deserve credit on how they have convinced players to stay for alot less money than what they will get dangled in front of them this summer (Mainly looking at Bayern Munich who are sniffing like dogs around the CHAMPIONS lol)

I think we'll sign Lass, Granero is used to playing a minor role and Gago will probably leave too. Also, if Jose can get Eto'o to play at left-back, I'm sure he can stamp out any egos at Real Madrid.
 
excellent addition for real but in my opinion real needs one more stronge midfielder
 
I can't say that I'm not disappointed, Real seem to be very prudent in the transfer market these days. I know that they are different types of players, but could this possibly make Kaka available? I know it would be a huge fee, but I've always loved the guy
 
Great prospect but surely Madrid have enough mids?? Maybe a few out in the summer?
 
Alonso has what...two, max three more years left in him? So obviously for 10/12 mil this is an absolute gem of a signing...

Sahin isn't for any of those players. He's backup/rotation to Alonso, since they can't cope when he's out.

Sahin will play second fiddle to Alonso.....for me, its the wrong move for him and should of stay at dortmund.....
