We've made a decent start to the month, we're still adjusting to life in the Championship, we've played some tough teams this month and picked up a valuable 4 points. We've come down to earth in a way but we're still confident we can still stay up. On a personal note I've struggled to find a tactic thats suits our style of play now we're in the Championship but I've found one now. I'm really pleased with our signings, our best one was possibly the extended loan of our tallisman Lauri Dalla Valle, Lauri will now remain with us until next July and we'll take it from there.

Stockport Sign Greenhalgh
Stockport County have confirmed the signing of teenager Ben Greenhalgh, the teen won the TV series, Football's Next Star and signed a pro contract with Italian Giants Inter Milan, but last season he returned to England and signed for Arsenal. Arsenal allowed Greenhalgh to move on loan and Stockport swooped at the chance to bring the talented youngster to EP. Greenhalgh had this to say: This is by far the best moment of my life, to sign for a team like Stockport is just a dream, Inter was good, Arsenal was very good, but to sign for Stockport is just unreal"
Greenhalgh seemed to forget he was only staying at Stockport for 3 months..

Updates WILL come tonight, sorry it's late but i've just got in so updates will come tonight people
Stockport County seem to be adjusting to life in the heights of the Championship after wings against Colchester, Reading and Plymouth. Stockport currently lie in 17th place and slowly seem to be competing against the big teams. Against Sheff Utd, Stockport were unlucky to lose, in the first half they were 2 down and really went for it and were unlucky to lose, with having a David Healy goal dissalowed. "We seem to be really settling in, I'm still not sure what my best XI is yet but that's not my biggest priority".
Stockport seem to be up for the battle in the Championship, despite being just a few points away from the drop zone, Stockport seem to be putting in some good performances against good sides in the Championship. Talisman Lauri Dalla Valle seems to be carrying the side at teams despite not scoring as many goals in previous seasons, Dalla Valle maybe young but he's got a good brain and a very hard worker.
"I think we are playing well so far, we could be playing better, but aslong as were away from the drop zone, thats the number 1 priority."
Despite not grafting out too many wins, Stockport are still flirting with the drop zone but still gaining points, and its the league table that counts. In the transfer market Stockport signed 4 players and also let fringe players such as Paul Huntington and Brian MacLean for a combined fee of 350K.
Stockport also seemed to be interested in Rotherham top-scorer Adam Le Fondre by using monthly installments, but Sam Charnock admitted he didn't know what they were.
"Monthly instalments are a strange thing in football, I didn't understand it so unfortunatley Adam couldn't re-join us.
