San Marino shock the footballing world

Andy-van-der-Meyde-Ajax1nl-1.jpg

San Marino have announced today that they were over the moon with their latest signing, Dutch Master, Andy Van Der Meyde.
Andy has had a good career, but it's 2011 now, and Andy van Der Meyde hasn't played a match since June 2009. There will be many questions over his fitness, but it's a great capture for the small club, non the less

San Marino were on the back foot today, and looked like the team of old. It was probably the worst they had played all season, but something about them had changed, they still stuck in there, believing they could win. Vitale scored a rare goal on 79 minutes whilst Cesarini scored in the 88th minute, to give San Marino the win, and hand San Marino the Serie C2/B title, and promotion to Serie C1

How much are you paying Andy van der Meyde anyway :P, thought you were broke already XD

McClaren isn't in Italy? How are you going to beat him up like what happened to Maradona

Great season mate! I know your finances may not look that nice but don't worry that's the way it's supposed to be, just hold on until serie B...

Yeah, we're scraping by lol.....Gonna have to offload some talent im not using, we've got nothing to spend on transfers, but we got some room to play with the wage budget.....so it will be free transfers only

Van Der Meyde is taking €600 a week, we got him on a free

And i have plans for McClaren lol

If we can pull through this season then it will be great...But i kind of cheated, i downloaded some ones shortlist for the new patch, players who were not in contract,....Any way, seems like alot of these guys will play for nearly nothing so there will be new arrivals.

New Season approaches

Harrod_Football_Goals.jpg

Newly promoted San Marino will be looking forward to this season, as they make their long awaited return to Serie C1. San Marino have never played at a higher level then this, but their spirits are high, and they firmly believe they can push for promotion again this season, With some bookies making them favourites to get promotion.
With San Marino set to announce their signings in the next few days, San Marino fans can look forward to the opening day of the season, when they play Barletta at home.
San marino will be also expecting their attendance to rise a little, especially when teams like Pisa and Reggina visit Olimpico.

San Marino have been handed a tough tie against former Serie A team, Reggina. San Marino secretly would like to progress a little further in the competition, but have to win away from home.

Liking your transfer policy, reminds me a bit of mine! Good times...

While Reggina brings back bad memories. How bad? You decide

San Marino delighted their fans today, holding Serie A giants Napoli to a 3-3 draw. Napoli clearly were unfit, but San Marino will still take this result. The game was a sell out, raising alot of money for the club.
The new signings seemed to have settled well, and San Marino fans had to pinch them selves early on in the second half, as their team were 3-1 up, but ten minutes later, the scores were equal again, and Napoli will feel unlucky that they didn't manage to go on and win by a hefty margin
